after the last few threads i have read i started thinking would i be unreasonable to have a party for ds which would be along the lines of
fruit shoots to drink
pom bears and greggs buffet

to say i bought it all at asda

when someone says i like your outfit to say thanks its from primark

to point out my new plasma fifty inch wall mounted tv and say thank god for benefits
all just to see if there would be mn posts flaming me (and find it quite funny)

I have not been on MM for a few days so don't know what you are talking about, sorry

DancingIceDragons · 13/11/2010 23:55

It works better if you dont make a point of doing it to say you want to get flamed.

DancingIceDragons · 13/11/2010 23:56

However you are more likely to be told to change your name. Mumsy names

I think you'd do better screeching into a disabled parking space in a 4x4 with a small child with no car seat. Who is perhaps sucking on a bottle filled with cola.

scottishmummy · 14/11/2010 00:44

You haven't even mentioned how you feed your newborn. put your back into it. for randomdeities sake.

Desiderata · 14/11/2010 00:58

I guess you're one of these women who has a 'baby on board' sticker in your car, and a sign at work that says 'You don't have to be mad to work here, but it helps.'

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

BitOfFun · 14/11/2010 01:00

Desi- are you kerazeee too? Grin

Desiderata · 14/11/2010 01:01

Perfectly sane, boffin. Perfectly sane.

jacksmomma · 14/11/2010 01:16

ok i dont actually want to get flamed i think i have had trouble putting down what was in my head on paper as it were, it was meant to be a joke which i thought regulars might find funny i am a newbie (ish) and seemed to have got it horribly wrong but anyway

ok desiderata i dont have a car and if i did what is wrong with a baby on board sign as long as you take it down when the baby is not on board?
i guess you have a sign at work that says you dont have to have absolutely no sense of humour to sit next to me but it helps

maybe dont define self as newbie, deference to oldies and gimmers isnt way to go.they love some action

your so called newbies opinion is as valid as any one playing the im royalty/you know who is

Desiderata · 14/11/2010 01:24

OH! I don't have a car either, JM! But I'm feeling like The Mentalist when you tell me that there's nothing wrong with a BABY ON BOARD sticker.

I just knew it Grin

And I don't work. I'm on benefits. On a Tuesday, I buy a Greggs sausage roll and share it with my kid, who should be at school, but he's skiving.

i do feel i have got it wrong with the tone i was trying to create , it was just i have read a lot of threads about asda benefits greggs primark etc and was trying to make light of it all
i would like to say for the record i have nothing against any of those things just in case
i hope when your kid is skiving he is watching jeremy kyle Grin

The problem with BABY ON BOARD stickers is this:-

I'm precious. My child is precious. If I didn't have this sticker on the back of my car, someone would deliberately ram their front end into the back of my CLIO. They would do this because they do it all the time. They just can't help themselves.

BUT! I have a baby! (ahhhhh).

So I won't.

scottishmummy · 14/11/2010 01:43

they are wanky parental proclamation stickers.dont have them - yuk
