To want the scool to come down hard on this boy.

DD2 came home from school yesterday and told me that while the teacher had turned her back (to put on music for aerobics) a boy in her class pulled out his willy and waved it infront of the class. DD is in year 3 so she is 7, this boy is 7 or 8. Now in my opinion this boy should be dealt with harshly to bring home the message that this behavior is not acceptable. I spoke to the headteacher today who said she would inform his parents and let them have a word with him. Do you think that's enough. I was thinking at the very least a week of detentions (but then I am strict with my own children).

What would you feel is an adequate punishment for this sort of behaviour?

pinkdolly, I am guessing that you don't have any sons?

ChickensHaveNoLips · 11/11/2010 15:11

FGS, it's only a penis. If he was 43 you'd have a point, but he's a child.

Ha ha ha ha ha @ ShirleyKnot Grin

Get a life @ OP.

TheBountyMuncher · 11/11/2010 15:15

Definately needs chopping off. That'd learn him.
Tsk, these filthy boys.

FranSanDisco · 11/11/2010 15:15

Memoo, has said what I was thinking. Are you a mum of girls who thinks all boys are willy waving maniacs?

Ormirian · 11/11/2010 15:17

And let's face it willies are funny! Absurd things really.

YABU they're young children. This is totally normal at this age.

NotShortImFunSized · 11/11/2010 15:20

Do you have any boys op?

ChickensHaveNoLips · 11/11/2010 15:20

DS2 plays air guitar on his. Strums and everything. He is 7.

2shoes · 11/11/2010 15:20

yanbu
it happened at school so the school should punish him

Faaamily · 11/11/2010 15:21

Teacher tells him thatit's inapprorpiate and not to do it again. Parents have a word. That's enough at this stage for a 7 yr old.

MrsBananaGrabber · 11/11/2010 15:22

My husband still does helicopter willy, more for his own amusment I think ;)

HappySlapper · 11/11/2010 15:23

Hahahaha ChickensHaveNoLips Grin

My 5 year old ds currently treats his like Stretch Armstrong.

RunAwayWife · 11/11/2010 15:24

Boys love to show it off, leave the school to deal with it

Oblomov · 11/11/2010 15:26

Barry Tipler.
God thats funny. Does Barry Tipler now know he's famous on MN ?

OP, YABVU.

atah · 11/11/2010 15:28

YABU did a boy you knew never do this when you were a kid?
I saw lots of willy's at this age and have grown up perverted absolutely fine - I think Hmm

IslaValargeone · 11/11/2010 15:31

So glad I'm not the only woman with a husband still doing helicopter willies.

ApricotWorms · 11/11/2010 16:06

What's helicopter willy? My husband has never shown me that.

Was it Barry Tipler's willy that made the teacher cry or something else?

OP you are overreacting but thank you for a very funny thread about willies!

saffy85 · 11/11/2010 16:09

It's a willy not an atomic bomb. Hmm

YABU. Obviously.

pinkdolly · 11/11/2010 16:22

Ok, am being totally unreasonable then. Yes I do have a boy but he is only 19 months old and is the first boy for a long time so totally unnacustomed in the behavior of boys.

I forgot to change my profile, stopped home-edding about 6 months ago.

Our school does do lunchtime detentions for that age as some of dd's mates have had it.

I suppose I just thought that a stark message to him now would stop him from continuing this type of behaviour later on.

And for the record- my dh also does helicopter willies.

Sorry if I offended anyone with my niaveness, I would just be mortified if my little boy exposed himself at school when he is older,

Thanx for your input.

Glad that's sorted, sorry but all this talk of helicopter willies and willy waving has made me chuckle.

I mean even the word willy is silly isn't it? :o

pinkdolly · 11/11/2010 16:30

And to the poster who told me to Get a Life.

Why do you assume that because i asked for an opinion on something that I haven't got a life. Everyone else's replies were helpful and constructive but your's was just plain rude.

OP posts:
Stropzilla · 11/11/2010 16:38

I want to know what a helicopter willy is...

Bloodymary · 11/11/2010 16:40

Oh dear, boys and their willys, men and their willys, they never grow out of it do they.
Maybe you could try and tell your DD to laugh at his little willy next time!
