for achieving my mumsnet challenge of the day, to begin a thread with more than 50 posts. What shall my next mumsnet challenge be?

loonies · 09/11/2010 17:43

Biscuit there, that's another achieved
LoopyLoops · 09/11/2010 17:46

To start a thread that has a grammatically correct title? Grin

nickelbangBANGbang · 09/11/2010 17:46

oh, loonies! Grin

you've also started a thread that didn't go the way you planned it!

bless yer little cotton socks!

KurriKurri · 09/11/2010 17:52

Have you been accused of trollery yet? - that's a landmark - I will start you off with a Hmm........................Grin

loonies · 09/11/2010 18:02

Oooo my first biscuit thanks BooBoo. And my first Hmm thanks Kurri. Which thread didn't go the way I planned Nickel? And no Kurri I don't think that I've been accused of being a trolley yet, no.

i started a massive great thread last week - i think it's up to it's max now. i'd better check as i got bored after page 6 and haven't been back to check what happened. it all got a bit heated.

You need to get called a cunt and have a thread deleted.

loonies · 09/11/2010 18:11

I'm not sure that I want to get called a c**t Eccentrica. What would I have to do to get a thread deleted? I was thinking of trying to revive an unlikely baby name. Here are some suggestions

Gerald
Nigel
Gary
Gavin
Norman

Barbara
Denise
Maureen
Carol
Deidre

does this qualify for starting a thread about a thread?

loonies · 09/11/2010 18:20

is that another achievement jonesy?

OP posts:
EccentricaGallumbits · 09/11/2010 18:23

ou also need to make discussions of the day and the Talk roundup.

do something extreme. go on.

jonesy71 · 09/11/2010 18:24

Absolutely !

loonies · 09/11/2010 18:49

Good ideas eccentrica. I thought that the dead dog thread was extreme but obviously not. Thanks Jonesy

Perhaps convincing a flouncer to stay could be another of my challenges

OP posts:
loonies · 09/11/2010 22:29

Filling half of the front page of AIBU with mundane threads about aspects of my daily life could be another challenge.

OP posts:
loonies · 09/11/2010 22:31

Going on to random threads, shouting FRUIT SHOOTS and then leaving

OP posts:
loonies · 09/11/2010 22:33

Saying in context the following

'How very dare you'
'You are a disgrace, leave Mumsnet imediately'

OP posts:
loonies · 09/11/2010 22:35

Start a successful campaign to have sticking out tongue smiley on Mumsnet

OP posts:
loonies · 09/11/2010 22:57

I've read back and now feel that the FRUIT SHOOTS challenge was a bit of a silly suggestion

OP posts:
KurriKurri · 09/11/2010 23:12

Go on every thread and offer random, hard hitting, no nonsense advice
'Kick the fucker out'
'tell her to fuck off'
'leave him, he's a twat.'
'If he was mine he'd be grounded forever and get his arse kicked'
etc.

LucaSecondFloor · 10/11/2010 07:44

Actually I think it's all rather silly.

Your thread hasn't even reached a page yet and you are your own prolific poster on it, none of which has even raised a 'lol' yet.

You are actually a bit dull.

nickelbangBANGbang · 10/11/2010 11:20

the thread I was on about was your bunfight thread.

Luca, now, now, the poor thing is only trying to make friends - if your PFB did the same thing at school, talking lots in order to get someone to like them, you wouldn't tell them off for it would you?

I like the "there, there, people will talk to you if you listen and are nice" method.

jonesy71 · 10/11/2010 11:23

still think she's dull, so there

Another challenge could be to act like a star-struck fan if I encounter a member of mumsnet HQ
