I sent this to headquarters. If anyone wishes to support me great, if not well at least I tried

Hi there. It seems there is a certain amount of online bullying that happens on your website. Certain posters seem able to make very offensive comments and then either get away with it or if challeneged, they are viciously defended by their 'supporters'. I am sure this is not the culture you would wish to promote on your website and I feel tempted to report this elsewhere. I still believe that to say 'women who give up career choices they are stupid aren't they' should not be encouraged on your website where many SAHM post and do not wish to be labelled as stupid collectively. I would not make such sweeping generalisations about any group. Thank you for your time

It is a quandary - either Scottishm is RabC broad or is Morningside posh.

Prefer Rab C persona especially when bawbag and big haired batterer come out

scottishmummy · 03/11/2010 10:28

we all draw from our own experiences, our wee world, thats what makes it so damn interesting.

VinegarTits · 03/11/2010 10:28

wishiwas21again · 03/11/2010 10:29

rainyrainy - I was sexually and emotionally abused by my parents. I know what bullying is.

No Xenia wasn't bullying but the vicious attacks I am receiving here because I stood up to a sweeping comment is bullying

I have been called a Fucker, Cunt and whatever scottsihmummy said. What because I thought calling a particular group of women stupid is offensive? I deserve that?

Oh and I am not barmy whoever said that. Just making a point and sticking to it. I will not resort to calling people disgusting names, I grew up being called such things as a child and I know it can still hurt as an adult

um. I think creaming someone's arse means something entirely different actually.

YOU ARE NOT THE FATHER

GrimmaTheNome · 03/11/2010 10:29

As for Xenia, well, she has been doing this for years, I don't think she posts on anything else.

I thought she only posted on school league tables.

hobnob calamine is evil, i remember that cold tightening feeling on my skin as we talk yuck!

bicarb in the bath day and night will sooth the spots and itching. then a really good emolient will keep skin moist and.

GallumDrawnAndQuartered · 03/11/2010 10:31

is creaming like mashing only moreso?

VinegarTits · 03/11/2010 10:31

wishiwas21again · 03/11/2010 10:32

It is like the playground, people desperately fawning over the leaders Hmm

A fascinating social insight mumsnet has turned out to be

you didnt think it all bad when you thanked your one acolyte by name

ShirleyGunpowderPlot · 03/11/2010 10:33

You shouldn't have started a 2nd thread after the first one told you that you were not only being unreasonable but actually, you are being a leetle bit of a bully yourself aren't you?

Picking up something a poster said, starting a thread, getting deleted - I'm pretty sure MNHQ TOLD you why you were being deleted, and then starting a 2nd thread. Hmm

Would you like to be treated thus? Would you like it is I started a thread saying
"AIBU to think that taking stuff personally on the internet is a bit daft?" and then NAMED YOU and then ranted on about being bullied?

I think you've got it twisted.

wishiwas21again · 03/11/2010 10:33

I repeat my comment that I know all too well what bullying is

GOML

'I'm a thousand percent sure that he's the father even though I have slept with the entire school football team and he needs to STAND UP AND TAKE CARE OF HIS RESPONSIBILITES"

NOT THE FATHER

Kaloki · 03/11/2010 10:35

In most forums starting a whole thread where you single out one poster could be considered bullying.

i always imagine that fawning is like what cats do when they kneed your jumper and dribble a bit.

PortoTreasonAndPlot · 03/11/2010 10:36

Who's fawning? Can you not grasp the fact that everyone in fact has their own opinion? It's just that it seems to be an opposing one to yours......I would learn from this and move on.

Hedgeblunder · 03/11/2010 10:36

Wish- I'm not trying to be rude but I think you'd be happier on netmums.com

mumsnet is a bit of a bun fight Mecca but it's a good laugh and you need to take it all with a pinch of salt and develope a thick skin
