Rannaldini · 31/10/2010 12:08

agreed

bearcrumble · 31/10/2010 12:10

What in particular strikes you as odd about them?

bagelmonster · 31/10/2010 12:10

can't stand them myself, everytime they come on the telly it has to be flicked over, very annoying!!!

ZZZenAgain · 31/10/2010 12:11

they must be getting on now

saltyseadog · 31/10/2010 12:13

Totally odd, but I love them. Hot potato hot potato :o

petelly · 31/10/2010 12:13

We love them here! Odd, yes but in a quirky rather than a creepy way.

ZZZenAgain · 31/10/2010 12:15

toot toot chugga chugga big red car..

inspired lyrics though, give them that

ZZZenAgain · 31/10/2010 12:16

my dd liked them when she was small

2shoescreepingthroughblood · 31/10/2010 12:17

dd likes them, but I think they look like they got lost on the way to a star trek convention

OP posts:
ZZZenAgain · 31/10/2010 12:17

do you know I was just thinking their outfits look like something out of star trek?!

IAPJJLPJ · 31/10/2010 12:22

i personally prefer the Imagination Movers!!

Much better songs! Grin

ZZZenAgain · 31/10/2010 12:23

messylittlemonkey · 31/10/2010 12:26

creepy. very very creepy.glad my DCs have outgrown them

3thumbedwitch · 31/10/2010 12:32

I hated them to start with and am still not keen but DS adores their songs. They are of course all over the place in Australia (unsurprisingly). I find them a touch unnerving but not anything like as disturbing as DOrothy the Dinosaur (linked production) and her rosie tea - do you get her as well?

Half of them used to be in a band called the Cockroaches - didn't do too well in that, but realised they had a market in the under-10s and exploited it.

epicfail · 31/10/2010 12:39

Oh they are just a bit dorky!

My kids grew up with them. Their music is in the background of every one of our early home videos. I am a bit sad that they had to get a new Yellow Wiggle though, I liked Greg.

epicfail · 31/10/2010 12:43

Creepy? They are all Primary School teachers actually. A bit drippy, but hardly creepy.

Feenie · 31/10/2010 12:44

Nowhere near as bad as The Bopps - have no idea how they get airtime at all.

IAPJJLPJ · 31/10/2010 12:45

They are worth £££££££

Acekicker · 31/10/2010 13:17

Was just aboutt to post exactly what Feenie said... The Bopps actually give me the heebies!

Bucharest · 31/10/2010 13:26

The wiggles give me the heebs.
They have that waxwork face thing happening for starters (like the lazytown man) And are those trousers supposed to be post-modern and ironic or just repulsive? And the Early learning centre/Baby Einstein primary colour batwing sweatshirts? Wozzallthataboutthen?

Just Not Right.

I have, thus far, managed to avoid "The Bopps" and will endeavour to continue doing just that.

Gemjar · 31/10/2010 13:36

Aren't they the richest men in Austrailia or close to it anyway?

They are very odd indeed, but both my little brother and DS absolutely love them.

invisibleink · 31/10/2010 13:58

I Miss Greg. Sam is just not chops!!
