I am quite new and keep seeing references to the mumsnet "heavies" on other threads. Am intrigued. Who are these people please?
"Heavy" because of strong opinions? Especially articulate posters? Nasty?
Or dos it refer to people officially involved with the actual running of musnet?
Please enlighten. I'd love to know who they are and why so called.

For those MN royalty or heavies out there can I ask a question?
Where do you get the time to be on here so much?
I feel like I'm on MN a lot and most of that time is spent reading and catching up with threads, I don't grasp how people can post so prolifically without having not much time to do anything else.

newlurker · 30/10/2010 18:38

Bucharest - that was you with the non judging crap remark? I though that was wonderful -why was this offensive enough to get deleted?
I can think of no logical explanation.

No no Hectate, I would never do that!!Blush

I also spend a lot of time typing very biting, sarcastic replies and then deleting them. In my own mind I am highly articulate.Grin.

I also manage to get the wrong end of the stick and then have to hide the thread. All very embarrassing.

MumBarTheDoorZombiesAreComing · 30/10/2010 18:45

I haven't been here long (march time ish?) and feel off the fence recently.

It's usually a choice of posting whats actually on my mind at times to threads (when I am generally feeling annoyed) or getting annoyed with DS whos being unintentionally annoying Grin

MumBarTheDoorZombiesAreComing · 30/10/2010 18:45

fell off I mean Blush

Oblomov · 30/10/2010 18:56

Riven, I am rubbish with namechangers. only just worked out it was SoH. And as for Fellatio ....
I never forget Vinegar. name just sticks.
There are a few whose posts are very clever. couldn't name them, here and now, though. when i see them the next time i remember, and then promptly forget what their name was.

TMAM, you were better than imagined (and I imagined you were pretty great tbh). More stylish, more beautiful, more lovely etc etc. Shurrup. You know I love you.

AM was exactly as I imagined her. And that's a good thing too.

Grin You loon. That was quite needy of me really wasn't it?

I'm going to call everyone an arse from now on, will I get banned? I fancy doing Cod's trick of reinstalling a thread from the dead, lighting it and then seeing what happens.

ShowOfBloodyStumps · 30/10/2010 19:17

Very needy. And not at all like you. You're drunk or hormonal. Which is it?

It's the pressures of Hallowe'en maybe.

three months ago

But then I discovered ipodge!

It's really simple, no complicated calorie counting, just a healthy dose of starvation and a weekly weigh-in and bollocking.

This is me now

Try it now. If you don't get the results you want in 30 days we'll refund all your money if you can find us.

Iwishiwasalive · 30/10/2010 19:23

JoBettany I spend half my time on MN typing and then deleting. I must have more issues ishoos than I thought. Should change my name to iwishiwasntascardycat

JoBettany · 30/10/2010 19:26

I have wondered a couple of times what would happen if I just typed exactly what I thought. Possibly a life ban? Grin

Themasterandmargaritas · 30/10/2010 19:32

Actually that dungeon looks quite appealing. Noone would bother you there, you could have a couple of hours peaceful reading with a bottle glass of wine.

Neither drunk nor hormonal, I know it's unusual for me since I usually swing from one of those states to another. It's a slight fear of running another half tomorrow.

JoB, gwan do it, if you do then I will. Well, perhaps next week I will, I won't tonight.
