I have a sinus infection. cant breathe properally. my head hurts and my ear are so pressurised they are itching. Everytime I sneeze I lose my hearing. All I want to do is sleep as i am knackered.

And MN is dead. AIBU to want to poke some life into mn tonight... so bored........

Hey I'm full of insomnia. I'll join you in your Sadness.

ChristmasTrulyReigns · 29/10/2010 02:43

Have you tried putting your head over steaming sink (under towel)?

DancingIceDragons · 29/10/2010 02:46

Yes. Cold and flu. cant take night nurse. Part of the problem is that my body feels hungry but i cant swallow properally so eating is a big problem. I have drunk enough to spend most of the night needing to pee Blush

Are you regular insomnia sufferer?

Just been looking at unanswered threads.

What do you think will have caused HQ to delete the comment but not the thread?

I'm normally up late, but every so often I have just no urge of tiredness till 3 or 4 o'clock.

I'm coming to the conclusion that it is a bit PMT realted but keep forgeting to make a note to do an accurate test.

ChristmasTrulyReigns · 29/10/2010 02:49

Funny - do you think it could have been an advert of some sort?

Are you manchester based?

ChristmasTrulyReigns · 29/10/2010 02:51

Sorry, being dense - you were looking at random unanswered threads. Blush

DancingIceDragons · 29/10/2010 02:52

ironically yes northwest based. There is another advert for liverpool. exactly the same. I suspect someone was tired when they deleted post not thread Grin

I know that feeling but never thought my sporadic insominia was PMT related. Tis possible.

Will you suffer for it tomo?

Leetle bit - My DCs are happy to potter while I snooze but I feel guilty.

It's the last day of half term here and I'd like to be up and about at a decent time.

Have you got plans for tomorrow with all that head pain?

ChristmasTrulyReigns · 29/10/2010 02:55

Even more strange - I have been to Trafford Centre today.

First time in about 8 years. Grin

DancingIceDragons · 29/10/2010 02:56

Ds is at his dad's. So can sleep as needed. Suspect trip to the docs might be in order. cant cope with the ear problems over the weekend. might have to scratch my ear drums out to stop the pain and pressure.

I'm here awake too.

Have been up to DS and DD but not slept at all tonight - tomorrow I am going to be a right miserable sod.

Am a bit miffed at dh and sil who came over this evening - mind racing stuff Sad

DancingIceDragons · 29/10/2010 02:57

They got the decorations up yet?

ChristmasTrulyReigns · 29/10/2010 03:00

Hello wonders.

Are you planning on going to bed?

ClimberChick · 29/10/2010 03:00

It's only for 15 long mins at 3:15 UK time

ChristmasTrulyReigns · 29/10/2010 03:01

Yeah, it'll probably shut down soon - I'm sure I'll see you both around again if it does. Sad

Sleep tight.

wonderstuff · 29/10/2010 03:01

Turns out my 17yo niece is in a whole heap of trouble, sil relayed details but she isn't supposed to know so I'm not supposed to know - niece is firstborn of bil who left first wife a few years ago - I am seeing new wife tomorrow and feel in very awkward position.

Angry at DH for opening a bottle of really nice wine I was saving and has now been drunk by sil. Which is silly cos compared to my nieces problems totally insignificant but I was really looking forward to it.

ChristmasTrulyReigns · 29/10/2010 03:01

all not both. Grin

Mornin ClimberC.

wonderstuff · 29/10/2010 03:02

Wish I was sleepy.

DancingIceDragons · 29/10/2010 03:05

Thanks climber.

Is sil mother or aunt to neice?
Sounds really tough either way. Wonder. I can understand annoyance at wine though. But can also understand that if a stiff drink needed and that is all to hand. Although even if it wasnt dont suppose dh would necess think.
