AIBU to be fed of still being awake at 2:30am and not able to go to sleep?

I have a sinus infection. cant breathe properally. my head hurts and my ear are so pressurised they are itching. Everytime I sneeze I lose my hearing. All I want to do is sleep as i am knackered.

And MN is dead. AIBU to want to poke some life into mn tonight... so bored........

ooo might look at face book and see if any of my foreign mates are up when mn goes to sleep for a bit.

sil aunt to niece - exwife tells mil who tells sil who tells us. Fecking chinese whispers.
Don't know if niece will be ok - left home, been pg, lost baby, drug dealers threatening her mother, lost job, arrested for theft.. she is really going all out to fuck her life over.

Wasn't only wine, was a cheaper bottle available and open - sil drinks like a fish..

Poor niece. i suppose if you are going to fuck up do it in style. She is going to need a lot of support. Not surprised you are finding it difficult to sleep. :(

Just can't see a way of helping her and think she has abandonment issues from her parents split - bil could have handled it better, but he has his own pile of issues.
Feel so sorry for nieces mother, sad that she hasn't called me. Really angry at niece for putting her mother through this - she is a nice kid but not the brightest and quite immature. Wish I could do something. Dreading seeing bil and new wife tomorrow - see them weekly as we have dd's the same age, no one has said anything about niece being in trouble.

Does her dad know? I can understand why you feel it is going to be hard tomo. but I guess the only course of action is not to say anything unless it is raised by either him or his wife. Could you not say you have a shocking headache and plead out?

I have been googling the active ingrediants in the two types of meds that i have in front of me. it turns out i took the less effective one over 4 hours ago. going to try the stronger one now. it just takes up to 60min to kick in.

meds have kicked in. and hopeful of sleep. they seem to be doing exactly what they say in the medical information sheet.

Am curious though did mn actually go offline this morning. As i havent lost it at any stage.
