Ok, so i was waiting for my train into the city this morning at 8.20am so as you can imagine pretty busy. The train i was waiting for arrived, i got on it and was dragged back off by what i can only decribe as the female version of fat bastard in austin powers.

She dragged me off by the back off my coat and said i'm in a fucking hurry ok! I didnt even get a chance to say anything to her as i was busy gathering my handbag etc from the platform. I could have been seriously hurt as the gap between the plaform and the train is huge and i'm tiny.

Now i'm thinking i should get there early tomorrow and drag her off by the scruff of the neck.

ambu or would you do the same?

no i wouldnt

i would ASK her what the hell she was doing!

KT1324 · 26/10/2010 22:17

If she was that rude to you today tomorrow if you question her she might punch you!!... I would stay well clear!!

xwitch · 26/10/2010 22:17

I have been in vengeful cow mode for a week so tbh I would call the police and ask for her to be charged with assault.

Vallhalloween · 26/10/2010 22:17
Shock

I'm not often stunned into silence but.... bloody hell!

No you are damn well not being unreasonable! Kick her up the arse while you're at it!

nattiecake · 26/10/2010 22:18

Does anyone think it would be considered any form of assault?

geraldinetheluckygoat · 26/10/2010 22:18

second what KT1324 says, but WHAT A LUNATIC!!

scurryfunge · 26/10/2010 22:18

I would report the assault to BTP. Railways have plenty of CCTV usually.

nattiecake · 26/10/2010 22:19

x post! train station will have cctv, get her fat arse arrested!!! :)

activate · 26/10/2010 22:19

well as there is a woman in custody tonight for allegedly pushing a transvetite onto a london tube track I would personally be calling the police and demanding they check the CCTV and asking for a charge of common assault to be made on this woman

nattiecake · 26/10/2010 22:19

lol, x post again!!!

trixymalixy · 26/10/2010 22:21

I would report her to the police for assaulting you!!!! absolutely shocking!!

scurryfunge · 26/10/2010 22:23

Do you know any other regular commuters at all who could be witnesses?

ForMashGetSmash · 26/10/2010 22:23

Good grief NO...do NOT say anything to her! As Nattie said there are some proper nutters about and she might squash you if you speak to her!

KT1324 · 26/10/2010 22:24

ooh yes call the police get her charged that would be funny

xwitch · 26/10/2010 22:25

Oh good I'm not the only one voting for the police.

MaudOHara · 26/10/2010 22:26

No don't challenge her - she sounds crazy - ring the police and have her charged

mummysgoingmad · 26/10/2010 22:27

Yeh your porbably right, i have just moved to the area so i dont really know anyone at my stop. I think i will get there early tomorrow and ask at the ticket office for the video of this morning to be reviewd and if possible the police to be contacted.

By the time i gathered myself together i looked like a looney shouting at a train! There was 1 woman who asked me if i was ok and shook her head but i was in total disbelief and quite frankly embarrased so i put my earphones back in and put my head down.

This has happened to me before, a man pulled me off a busy tube (I hadn't just got on, I'd been on for 3 stations, I just happened to be by the door). He pulled me right on to the platform and said 'Sorry I'm really late, I have to get this train.' I was so stunned, I didn't say or do anything :(.

TandB · 26/10/2010 22:31

Yes, call the BTP and make a complaint re: common assault. The BTP take commuter rage pretty seriously. I was punched in the face by a man who thought I should have got out of his way quicker when he was trying to shove through the ticket barrier behind me to get away from the ticket inspector. Despite other commuters chasing him, the station staff refused to get involved, either to help me (bleeding from the chin and entire box of work papers scattered over the entrance) or to call the police.

The BTP officers I dealt with were furious and made formal complaints against the station staff involved, checked the CCTV (broken) and came to my office nearby to interview me.

A1980 · 26/10/2010 22:37

Yes make a complaint but tbh keep away from her. She sounds unhinged.

Who the hell needs to get to work so desperately that they'd resort to that? She might punch you the next time. Stay clear of her.

Diziet · 26/10/2010 22:40

Shock this is just AWFUL!!! You have to get the police involved here. I recently travelled to Cornwall on the train with DS1 for my nephew's christening. The thought of anything like that happening while I had either or both of the DC with me makes me feel ill!!

spookyhalloweenFluffypomkins · 26/10/2010 22:40

YANBU.

Why dont you just tell her what you have told us?

The fact she looks like a female version of fat bastard. whilst doing the impression
"im dead sexy, look at my sexy body" Grin

Kitta · 26/10/2010 22:41

police def.........
Are you ok?

MumBarTheDoorZombiesAreComing · 26/10/2010 22:48

Shocked.

Only thing I can think of she had just been given terrible news and was in a hurry somewhere, hospital maybe.

Even so I'm sure it would have been quicker to board after you instead of firmly removing you.

I'd def call BTP.
