woke up late.

Rushing around to find the littlies' school uniforms and dp (lying in bed) is calling me.

Trying to step over all the crap that's in dds' room, trip over a large toy.

Leave dds room to go to see what dp wants - nothing important ("why is their room untidy?")

Can't find clean trousers for ds so put some in the dryer

Ds refuses to eat breakfast

ds then refuses to walk to school

dp not talking to me because I snapped at him that his ridiculous query about girls' room could have waited till I wasn't quite so busy

discover that ds cut his hair last night when dp was looking after them (HUGE chunk out of the front of his fringe)

take kids to school

get home to discover that dd1 has taken the dog out and locked me out

wait for ten minutes for her to get home - without my coat as I was only dropping the littlies off at school.

check bank balance and money I'm desperate for has still not gone in.

look around house, see bomb site.

I am stressed and nobody caaaaaaares

Smack DP repeatedly with a pillow till he gets up.
Then HE can sort out the kids rooms if it bothers him so much.

BitOfFunderthepatio · 19/10/2010 09:32

True, Eleanor. I much prefer to be the lollER rather than the lollEE.

lollipopshoes · 19/10/2010 09:32

no eleanor he doesn't - he's just a lazy fuck who can't be arsed getting out of bed in the morning

(actually he was working till quite late last night and he's had a weekend totally jam packed full of being called into work and he's at uni today for a full day - but for the purposes of my bad mood rant I'm ignoring all that)

Some mornings are like that. I had one last week, when my 11 yo ds decided he could not find his shoes just as we were about to go out the door, making us all late. I yelled at him and made him cry. Dropped him off then realise that my dd has in the mayhem forgotton her packed lunch but remembered her show and tell item! So had to go home again, and drive her back to school, after the bell rang. I came home and cried that day. My house is permanently a tip and no one cares here either. Have a cup of tea!

Hassled · 19/10/2010 09:35

Tomorrow will be better - and don't fret re the bomb site, it will only get trashed again this evening.

I was an Evil She-Witch From Hell yesterday - everything was just wrong. Today I'm positively chipper.

anonymousbrainsnatcher · 19/10/2010 09:35

What eleanor said, what the fuck does your DP think he is playing at?

Give his a big kick up his arse.

Get DC to just jump on his head.

anonymousbrainsnatcher · 19/10/2010 09:35

him not his. Give HIM a bit kick.

anonymousbrainsnatcher · 19/10/2010 09:36

big not bit.
Oh I give up. Blush

JaxTellersOldLady · 19/10/2010 09:37

can I join you? I am not in a bad mood, but I am seriously lacking sleep with the new puppy.

And cant be arsed doing the mountain of housework/cleaning/laundry/ironing that needs doing. Havent even had my shower this morning, or washed my hair and it is a guarantee that someone will come to the door and see me looking like this!

haaarrrrrumff.

I have coffee... I also had emergency cigs, I will be fine.

Right,off to the shower.

Sometimes just typing how crap you feel helps.

skips off to shower

lollipopshoes · 19/10/2010 09:38

anonymousbrainsnatcher - that made me giggle.

Thank you Grin

Am going to have a massive cup of tea then make a start on tidying the house.

P'raps a bit of cleaning will put me in a good mood [pigs might fly emoticon]

YANBU to be stressed. Very difficult morning and unsupportive DP.

YABU, however, to use the term 'littlies' twice in your OP.

Have a cup of tea and do some MNin for half an hour then tackle your jobs. That's what I'm doing. I also had a stressful morning involving having to put last minute school stuff in the drier.

lollipopshoes · 19/10/2010 09:43

half an hour's MNing sounds quite good actually, spidermama.

(and I like littlies [sulks])

Giddyup · 19/10/2010 09:51

I feel your pain. This morning I have had the DP in bed thing. I am extremely, extremely pregnant and had to man handle a large and cumbersome mode of the solar system (that I was still finishing at midnight) to school on foot. I was kind of thinking DP would get up and drive DS in. He is at the chiropractor at the moment but I will make sure he does all the house work on his return.

sonia77 · 19/10/2010 10:02

Can I join. Baby been sick for three days and projectile vomited all over me and bed last night. After it had taken me all day to get washed and dressed. He has been feeding all night and im knackered with a hacking cough. Baby seems cheery though bless him. Ill have a nice latte please. Anyone want to change a nappy...

lollipopshoes · 19/10/2010 10:14

oh fgs it just gets better and better!

oh dear lollipop just read your other thread! What a situation for you all.

Block the number.

OK - have had a cup of lots coffee and shower, got some laundry on and cleaned the bathroom.

Feel a bit better now. Puppy is asleep in crate and I am going to get the ironing board out. Oh yes, I know how to live the high life!

lollipopshoes · 19/10/2010 12:02

am feeling a bit better now Smile

have had 2 cups of tea, cleaned the living room, put washing on, done a "to do" list for the rest of the day and am now eating cheese toasties.

And, I think I have a teeny bit of wine left from the weekend that I hid from dp - may go and glug it down in a bit.

Glad you're also getting there!

ullainga · 19/10/2010 12:04

"why is their room untidy?"

Well, i guess because someone has messed it up and nobody has cleaned it? Or is he looking for some philosophical/scientific discussion about mess in general, the causes and effects?

lollipopshoes · 19/10/2010 12:06

ullainga - perhaps I should research the philosophical reasons behind chronic untidiness and come up with a super clever scientific answer for him...

then wake him up at half six tomorrow morning and tell him my conclusions?
