Did anyone actually try it? What was it like?!

Nigella is nutty as a box of frogs, but I do have an affection for her- I was hoping this might actually be half decent....

It did look good! I'm going to give it a try but havent had chance to yet.....

tried it...got bored of frying it...bunged in oven and treated like roasties. Liked it. DH has requested a repeat.

We had them with meatballs in Goulash sauce (a la Delia).

Ooh I picked that recipe card up today! I'll give it a go together.

I picked up the one for Hestons slow cooked pork too - NINE HOURS cooking time!!!!

I have a pack waiting in the fridge. I'll try anything to get DD2 to eat potato - even reconstituted ones.

SeriousWispaHabit that sounds lovely. Any chance of a recipe for the meatballs?

Will try a link for the first time ever:

It worked Grin Thanks for that, will use it over the weekend.

Tried tonight. A bit horrid, I thought.

MrsRhettKilledTheButler · 15/10/2010 01:03

i'm a bit confused about gnocchi, is it potato or pasta?

TastesLikePanda · 15/10/2010 08:05

Tried it - wasn't that bothered about it. Maybe I over fried them, but frankly I've had better oven chips.

backwardpossom · 15/10/2010 08:12

Potato, MrsRhett

I think anything involving gnocchi is generally a bad idea. You do know it tastes like solidified lumps of wallpaper paste don't you? And when Nigella gets too creative it usually ends in tears. Don't say I didn't warn you.

I like gnocci - although it takes awful if over cooked....keen to try the fried/roasties....
