I have to do it on fcebook, as once I put something as a joke, and put a face next to it, and my friend couldn't tell i was joking.
I actually had to explain it.
So now when I post on her wall, I put lol when it's a joke.
I have never done this at any other time. I don't like it.

Christ, no, I never text (otehr than to say 'ok' to dd when she texts me).

It started as a joke, DP got some texts from DD with lol in, and he was like the OP in his apoplexy. So we just say lol to each other to piss him off. Well, that's how it started anyway.
