No you're not. I think it's lovely, especially for young children. The 3 nights will seem a lot longer and you will have a peaceful, happy time.

jabbajabba · 09/10/2010 18:55

Have been a couple of times and had a great time each occasion.

8y DD had a brilliant school residential there in May, and is already hyper about next May's school trip there.

Its nicer then Butlins Wink

sweetkitty · 09/10/2010 22:06

We are off to sherwood Monday the kid are SO excited.

atmywitssend · 09/10/2010 22:06

YANBU - its brilliant! Can be expensive but cycling/scootering/walks by the lake/feeding ducks, squirrels etc all free. We've been 3 times this year.
DS loves watching people play tennis, squash and 10-pin bowling as well.

Mumcentreplus · 09/10/2010 22:15

YANBU,

We go to Elvedon Center Parcs every year and love it.

Have loads of fun :)

sterrryerryoh · 09/10/2010 23:07

sweetkitty - my DH does the kids? disco at Sherwood Center parc on Weds night - go and say hi!

stoatsrevenge · 09/10/2010 23:32

I love the Dutch ones - luxurious and a fraction of the price. One even has a snowy indoor ski slope!

ClimberChick · 10/10/2010 04:59

just make sure you've loads of money and enjoy Grin

Bunnyjo · 10/10/2010 10:19

I've been to CP many times - once to the Sherwood Forest one and the rest of the time we have gone to the Whinfell Forest one.

I absolutely LOVE Centerparcs - it can be a bit pricey, but there is genuinely something for everyone. Am very Envy at everyone who is going in the next couple of months or so.

Blatherskite · 10/10/2010 10:27

We're off to Elveden in December. It'll be our 3rd time in 3 years. I cannot wait Grin

chipmonkey · 10/10/2010 11:09

YANBU, I love CP!

Georgimama · 10/10/2010 11:21

We had a week in whinfell forest CP for our summer holiday this year. Best holiday we've ever had, and 100 x better than the disasterous expensive week we had in a cottage in Cornwall last year.

We're going again for DH's birthday weekend in January and I can't wait. Go a lakeside lodge and it is going to be fab.

mumtoabeautifulbabyboy · 10/10/2010 11:23

Has anyone stayed in one of the treehouses. I'm looking at one for next Easter but are they worth the extra money?
