they are freeloading horrible twats. They are going clubbing for a weekend in the city where we live and they keep dropping big hints on facebook like ..... looking for somewhere to stay in ......

I wouldn't have them in my house if my life depended on it.

Fucking cunts.

Ok, so I am clearly Being unreasonable but if they come within a mile of my house I will blow their car up

usualsuspect · 07/10/2010 17:41

You don't like them then....

DetectivePotato · 07/10/2010 17:41

Okaayyyy!

I'm guessing some kind of backstory here.

Are you sure they are hinting? Some people just put every little mundane thing about what they are doing on FB, drives me frigging insane.

thesunshinesbrightly · 07/10/2010 17:44

Hmm think your being a bit harsh.

massivemammaries · 07/10/2010 17:44

I'm guessing some kind of backstory here.

wow they don't call you "detective" for nothing do they? lol

yes they are definitely hinting

OP posts:
massivemammaries · 07/10/2010 17:45

@thesunshinesbrightly

maybe. blowing up their car would be a waste of a good car

LovestheChaos · 07/10/2010 17:50

I also have a BILFH (brother in law from hell) and he has a bitch GF.

They lived with us, the freeloading twats, refused to leave when I begged them to. DH wouldn't back me up. We nearly got divorced over it. I had to put up with a lot of shit for a year and a half while they lived in my house. I had to leave DH with the kids and go to my parents in the USA and refuse to come back to get it sorted.

Prior to living with us they were living at my MILs, ignoring her as she was dying of cancer. When MIL died they continued to live in her house but didn't pay rent. My DH had to pay that mortgage (as well as ours) while we were trying to sell dead MIL's house. It took 2 years to sell because they left it such a tip. The pigs wouldn't clean it up when potential buyers came around.

At this time I had a stressful job as a staff nurse working 14 hour days, 3 kids under 5 (one with autism) and no relatives of my own this side of the world. BILFH and his wench GF would call me "lazy" for not hoovering their part of the house. They were 20 years old at that time, not working and not in school. Refused to help out around the house. They overtook 4 rooms and the cellar with all their junk. My DH would say "But he's my baby brother". Neither did they help with childcare or anything at all.

You have my sympathy anyway. If my BILfH and his bitch come near my house ever again I'll open fire I swear to god.

massivemammaries · 07/10/2010 17:53

@lovesthechaos .............. wow, this sounds so similar to my BILFH I am definitely blowing up their car

OP posts:
FakePlasticTrees · 07/10/2010 17:56

Massivemammaries - I've got to go run DS's bath, but can you please let us know the back story when I get back?

LovestheChaos · 07/10/2010 17:57

Let's start a BILFH support group Grin

massivemammaries · 07/10/2010 17:59

how about a BILFH assassination group? could I put a contract out on him via mumsnet?

OP posts:
MadameCastafiore · 07/10/2010 18:03

Blimey lovesthechaos - I would have had black sacks on the front lawn if I were you and the locks changed.

InGodWeTrust · 07/10/2010 18:11

I dislike my BIL and his wife...well I dislike him because of her being a waste of space. YANBU! I like the idea of sending them a list of hotels and taxis to ferry them from the club to the hotel.

TracyK · 07/10/2010 18:16

Why don't you get on with your own life and stop worrying about them!

WoTmania · 07/10/2010 18:28

YANBU
You that film where they murder (or plan to murder, I can't remember. I had alcohol taken) each other's victim. We could do that. My BiL isn't as bad as yours though from the sounds of it.
He did, though, plan to stay for 10 days!!!!!! before DH and I got married, in DH's 2 bed house he shared with someone else. Bringing along GF and their 2 DC Hmm. 5 weeks before we got married he shaved one of DH's eyebrows off (funny guy Hmm).

He also thought that 5 tabs was an appropriate present for DH's 31st birthday Hmm.
DH stopped smoking 7 years ago, BiL always, without fail, tries to get him to smoke. Usually to smoke a spliff.

He is a Twat.

KaraStarbuckThrace · 07/10/2010 18:39

OMG Loads of chaos - did you not think of changing the locks and threatening to put your DH's balls in vice before he let them in the house again?

Agree - Mammaries - you need to give us more information!

GinaGinelli · 07/10/2010 19:09

YANBU

My DH went into partnership with his little brother and they jointly took out a loan of £15k to help start the business. 4 weeks later BiL's girlfriend demanded he quit the business as she 'didn't like the smell' (they were farm contractors). He promptly got a job in a call centre leaving my DH in the lurch with a fledging business and a huge loan. DH let him off because, like LovetheChaos' DH he would say, 'he's my baby brother'. Angry

Madinitials · 07/10/2010 21:01

Crikey LovestheChaos.

To think I used to complain about my BIL (not from hell though) eating all the jaffa cakes.

FetchezLaVache · 07/10/2010 21:07

Adds 'only child' to list of things I love about DH
