She just gets on my nerves so much !!

Oh dear. Resorting to insults.

I only asked why you used the word bovine to describe someone

The udders?

ShrimpOnTheBarbie · 02/10/2010 23:20

I love her books and her recipes are fantastic generally. I'm not as keen on her tv shows. I do find her simpering and 'sexiness' a little OTT.

YABU to describe her as bovine.

There was a fantastic female chef on Masterchef the Professionals this week (I'd love to see more of her). And Nigella is gorgeous and her recipes work - also Angela Hartnet, Silvena Rowe.

belledechocolatefluffybunny · 02/10/2010 23:22

What a nasty thread. You do know her first husband died of a brain tumour? This is shameful.

jtop · 02/10/2010 23:25

You are having a laugh right belle ? Because her first husband died of a brain tumour no one is allowed to critice her ??

The lazy cooking's a winner here! Grin

jtop · 02/10/2010 23:27

I'm sure her food is lovely ! I just think she trades on her appearance. she might be intelligent but you would not guess it from the faces she makes when on camera. Why can't she just cook the damn food ?

Yes, you could criticise maybe her recipies, but resorting to personal insults and calling her 'bovine' are utterly ridiculous and horrible.

She's done nothing to you. Why call her a cow?

4plus1 · 02/10/2010 23:28

YABU how horrible are you?! Nigella is talented and extremely atractive

Amapoleon · 02/10/2010 23:28

I thought he died of mouth cancer, not that it has anything to do with it.

I'm more curious as to why the op has only posted for 3 days over 7 months Confused

DirtyMartini · 02/10/2010 23:32

ROFL at Hedge's mum

Scarabeetle · 02/10/2010 23:32

I would like to hijack this thread and turn it into a compilation of our favourite Nigella recipes.

  1. London Cheesecake.
  2. Mughlai Chicken Curry
  3. Chocolate cream cheese brownies Smile Smile Smile

The last one is to die for.

Meglet · 02/10/2010 23:32

Nigella is great. More of the 'bung it all in' style of cooking please. Angela Harnett is lovely too.

Delia is too fussy for me.

frogetyfrog · 02/10/2010 23:32

YABVVVU. What a nasty thing to say.

She is georgous. Her recipes work!

pinkgrasshopper · 02/10/2010 23:33

I can't get that peanut butter cheesecake she made this week out of my head. I'd make it but I'd eat it all in one go and DH wouldn't help because he hates peanut butter...

Hedge's Mum's comment is priceless Grin
