Obviously not to playgroups etc, but I've got a baby at home and don't think I can cope otherwise. Is there anywhere we can safely go where there won't be lots of kids/pregnant women?

As said, it is possible that her bereavement story is true (although I hope not) - we can't be sure - we are just sure that she's been banned four times by us for causing trouble over the last year or so. Each time she has come back with a new persona and started inflammatory threads. We only noticed this yesterday when her blog attacking another Mumsnetter meant that several people reported her posts and we took a look at her posting history.

arses · 02/10/2010 17:51

Oh my God. I feel like my head is exploding, so I have no idea what this must be like for the bereaved parents on this thread.

LadyBiscuit · 02/10/2010 17:52

Jesus wept. This is bizarre and very horrible :(

arses · 02/10/2010 17:52

Were all her "inflammatory threads" related to children's deaths though? Because then it's just her rage.. which is a different story entirely.

I really feel that this is still very oblique.

Me too arses. I feel a bit voyeuristic to be so upset by this, like it's not my business. I didn't 'know' SS, am luckily not in the position of being a bereaved parent. I did have a small run in with her on a thread about the platitudes that people say when confronted with someone's loss but it was no biggy, me thinking I was being understanding and failing miserably as usual.

But if it was made up, then it's horrible, but it's equally horrible if it's true.

arses · 02/10/2010 17:54

And also, aren't there serial 'inflammatory thread' posters on MN? I seem to see some angry folk on AIBU quite often..

Do you have proof that in the past she has LIED significantly about her identity.. or is it just that she starts bunfights?

What do you mean by "troll"?

shabbapinkfrog · 02/10/2010 17:54

Found this easily, within a few seconds

hobnobsaremyfavourite · 02/10/2010 17:55

Sorry MNHQ this still doesn't make sense. Maybe I am particularly dense but I find the explanation lacking.

JustineMumsnet · 02/10/2010 17:56

No they weren't related to children's deaths but they were it seems designed to cause fights - very controversial subjects - leaving a lot of anger and fighting in their wake.

As you know we don't ban people lightly. Certainly not for being angry.

Who were her other guises then, please do tell?

SacharissaCripslock · 02/10/2010 17:58

Well it doesn't seem as if MNHQ have any evidence that her story isn't true. Coming on and stirring up bunfights might not be 'nice' but it hardly means she's a liar.

shabbapinkfrog · 02/10/2010 18:01

Justine you banned me within a few hours for daring to shout out loud - I called another MNetter names and at the time she wasn't posting. I was banned for bitching behind her back Hmm Ah well.....

peterpansmum · 02/10/2010 18:02

Dear Justine @ MNHQ - I've already contacted you at that email address earlier this afternoon and am as yet still to receive a response... Please get in touch as this is verging on the ridiculous....

LadyBiscuit · 02/10/2010 18:02

People met DM. Doesn't mean anything.

Librashavinganotherbiscuit · 02/10/2010 18:02

So in the past she has caused trouble and been banned, unfortuntely when she does need support her posting antics in the past have come back to bite her on the bum?

sethstarkaddersmum · 02/10/2010 18:02

but if she's the same person (by which I suppose they mean the same IP address) as someone who has been banned 4 times isn't not surprising they would be suspicious is it?

deemented · 02/10/2010 18:04

It's not just that though - it's the damage thats been done on the bereaved parents thread...

Are you going to pick up the pieces on there, Justine?

misdee · 02/10/2010 18:05
