Strangely, I manage to go whole days, nay weeks without bumping into her.

Perhaps you should choose a different paper/magazine and turn the television over occasionally.

ShowOfHands · 28/09/2010 13:04

I bumped into her in a deli once. That's once in 29 years. I'm bearing up well under the strain.

annec555 · 28/09/2010 13:09

No, you are not being unreasonable. Once in 29 years would be too much for me.
I also can't understand why everyone has managed to forget the unedifying nightclub incident.
She comes from the town where a lot of my family still live and my OH uses this as vindication for all of his anti-northener sentiment.
I also find it rather entertaining that she sits in judgement on people who actually have talent......

StealthPolarBear · 28/09/2010 13:16

no yanbu and I agree I can't believe that people have forgotten her thuggy past.
anne - I live in Durham :)

prettywhiteguitar · 28/09/2010 13:28

YUABU she is so lovely I even have hairspray with her mug on so I can look adoringly at her very single morning

NerdyFace · 28/09/2010 13:32

It always makes me laugh hearing EVERYONE I work with gossip about X-Factor and how brave and amazing she is...

....I get shunned when I bring up the fact she's a vile racist bully..

Least it shuts em up about X-Factor! :o

cupcakesandbunting · 28/09/2010 13:34

She is a bit of a dufus.

But I do like her dimples. I want some.

Iklboo · 28/09/2010 13:35

I said to DH t'other day that she seems to be rapidly turning into the next Diana with some people.

cupcakesandbunting · 28/09/2010 13:40

My DH reckons she looks just like Michael Jackson when she's wearing those sunglasses that are too big for her head.

InVinoFerretsAss · 28/09/2010 13:42

Yeah I'm sick of her too. My brother fancies her, my dad fancies her, fortunately hubby thinks she's "way too skinny" Grin

Nicole Chairslinger was much better on X Factor too, no wonder Mrs Cole chucked her toys out of the pram...

shimmerysilverglitter · 28/09/2010 13:45

YANBU, she bores me to tears. I just can't see the interest tbh.

My ex once said, drunkenly, "Now thats the kind of bird I like!" when he saw her prancing around on something or other.

Well Good Luck with That Ex H Grin.

juneybean · 28/09/2010 13:46

No I love her

juneybean · 28/09/2010 13:46

"YUABU she is so lovely I even have hairspray with her mug on so I can look adoringly at her very single morning"

Really?! Amazing Grin

chilipepper27 · 28/09/2010 13:47

I am a Geordie too and my accent doesn't change with the wind, show of hand the point I was making was that I can't read a mag even vogue or turn my tv over without seeing her face , it's everywhere! Even on hairspray cans! it wouldn't be too bad if she could actually sing. I have dimples and it's not as much fun as you would think lots of people poke their fingers in them :0

JenaiMarrHePlaysGuitar · 28/09/2010 13:49

YANBU.

I imagine her to have been a horrible bully at school. One of the pretty ones with a mean face.

PeterTong · 28/09/2010 13:49

why is she racist?

genuinley don't know.

i dont have a telly and DL x factor, i quite like her

conkie · 28/09/2010 13:50

I like her. My husband fancies her and to be honest I don't blame him.

juneybean · 28/09/2010 13:51

When she was younger she called a toilet attendant a racist comment.

lucky1979 · 28/09/2010 13:51

I really like her.

Plus, as she was found not guilty of the racist bit of her court case then calling her a vile racist bully is unjustified. Vile bully if you like, but not racist. Unless you have other evidence which wasn't available to the court?

cupcakesandbunting · 28/09/2010 13:52

I'm going to stick my head above the parapet and say she is not a racist. Think about it; she married a black man and apparently had a dalliance with another black man. She did do a disgusting thing by punching that toilet girl but I reckon she just so happened to be black and it got turned into a race issue. She might be a divvy but I really wouldn't say she was a racist.

shimmerysilverglitter · 28/09/2010 13:53

No agree, quite obviously not racist.

But still a BitofaTwat!

NerdyFace · 28/09/2010 13:54

Yeah, she was being accused of being a racist and at the time there were a lot of of rumours and jibs about Ashley Cole playing for "The Other Team".

Lo and behold, they are both seen out and about, she is no longer a racist and he is no longer being accused of being gay!

annec555 · 28/09/2010 13:55

SPB - I was born in Shotley bridge and lived in tyneside till I was 21. I think Cheryl cole lowers the collective IQ of northerners every time she opens her mouth.
Petertong - she assaulted and racially abused a black nightclub toilet attendant about 30 seconds after joining girls aloud..

grapeandlemon · 28/09/2010 13:55

I also preferred nicole on x factor, I am bored of cc now.

kreecherlivesupstairs · 28/09/2010 13:56

I don't like her much even though I don't personally know her. I've seen the X factor three times and on each occasion she has cried.
