Well, am I? Ed is lacking a certain something in that respect, but David.....

You are insane. My daughter mad ea Mr Potato Head today which looked SO like Ed. And David is all dry and tight. And does that Tony Blair glottal stop thing. Is that the 'sound like a regular guy' habit engendered by Alistair Campbell. I'd rather have Tony Benn if I'm heading left.

Minione · 27/09/2010 21:56

I confess - as a teenager in the mid 90s I had a huge crush on Tony Blair. I also had a bit of the thing for Mandy. This is predominantly why I chose to study politics at A-Level. I was, literally obsessed, with TB - glad to say I am over it now and somewhat embarrassed!

David M is more attractive than Ed but prefer Ed on the ideology front. Prefer Andy Burnham though!

orienteerer · 27/09/2010 21:57

No, no no!

Minione · 27/09/2010 21:59

Is that to me? I know, shocking!

I have a good friend who had a crush on Gordon Brown - is this worse?

ooh yes, I definitely would! YASNBU!!!

Bucharest · 28/09/2010 06:29

Well, thank you very much Mumsnetters....I am just awoken from a (not entirely unpleasant but inappropriate) dream involving myself and Ed who was wearing a pair of children's Boden red knee length shorts with white spots on and heart shaped pockets. (real life morphing into the dreamtime, I'd just put dd's in the wash)

pigsarenice · 28/09/2010 08:01

I LUV DAVE!

warthog · 28/09/2010 08:02

yuck

PfftTheMagicDragon · 28/09/2010 08:05

Osborne!!! Really?? I would de either Miliband (though think they are both pretty horrid looking) before touching Obsorne with my toe.

Bucharest · 28/09/2010 08:33

I would do Clegg before Osborne.

And I'd rather dig a dead one up and do him before I'd do Clegg.

Kissing Osborne would be like kissing Hugh Laurie when he was being the Prince Regent.

slug · 28/09/2010 09:14

Milliband elder looks a bit like Skeletor. You can see far too many of his skull bones for my liking.

gingercat12 · 28/09/2010 09:27

It is our anniversary today, so I cannot really contribute to this thread Blush.

YANBU definitely [runs away]

PfftTheMagicDragon · 28/09/2010 10:12

Grin bucharest

Rocklover · 28/09/2010 10:15

Oh god please don't even insinuate it. I feel sick enough with pregnancy nausea as it is.

He is odious, as is his little brother. Urgh!

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 28/09/2010 10:21

Bleugh they are both horrid, wouldn't go near them with a bargepole.

George Osbourne is an interesting one, I thought he had a certain something on the news last night - but snoozeathon you are right that he looks like he would be filthy.

gingercat12 · 28/09/2010 11:45

I met George Osborne once. He really made feel sick, and I was not even pregnant then.

PfftTheMagicDragon · 28/09/2010 13:42

did he touch you?

gingercat12 · 28/09/2010 14:00

Noooooooooo....

nicky80 · 28/09/2010 14:08

toopragmatic : But Mandy is clearly gay?

I cant believe someone said Danny Alexander..yeuch!

They are all right wing toffs..I think I would have to go for Gordon Brown myself..I know.. terrible but so true!

AmazingDisgrace · 28/09/2010 14:45

I quite fancy Ed, agree with Slug: David looks like skeletor and his hair looks like its a badger wig Grin

gingercat12 · 28/09/2010 16:20

I normally fancy men with brains, so I do not mind the hairstyle so much.

Having said that I hope Ed will find a (new) hairdresser.

wendihouse22 · 29/09/2010 19:38

Cute definitely. David has a certain something.....

Ed on the other hand always looks to me like a supercilious git and he's now got the top job in opposition! The mind boggles.

SalFresco · 29/09/2010 20:23

I'd do either of them. And I fancy Gordon Brown...

TooPragmatic · 29/09/2010 21:10

nicky80, yes, I think so too. But we're firmly in fantasy territory here! Wink In any case, it's not like I'm imagining it's a likely event...
