sit and slurp an entire coffee/latte/frappucino from a teaspoon or even sometimes from a wooden stirrer?

I probably am aren't I? Why does it annoy me so much? I wouldn't mind the sight of a child doing it...but there's something incongruous about the sight of an adult treating a beverage like a pudding!

It's kind of piggish isn't it? Yes...I could look away...but I can hear it!

I am real issues with the way people eat / drink (particularly any noise ) and once stabbed my leg with a fork as I was getting more and more worked up by the way a relative was eating at my brothers wedding!

What does irritates me with Costa though,is when they close off half the seating area mid-afternoon - for cleaning. I prefer to sit in a comfy seat when I pay those prices.

I can't stand people who ruin my relaxed ten minutes with a coffee by giving me dirty looks for various minor misdemeanours.

I don't care how other people eat or drink, as long as they don't make a racket in my ear, or drop things out of their mouths or otherwise do something that revolts me.

If they're not making my stomach churn, I don't give a crap what they do.

So eating froth off a spoon would not bother me.

slurping froth off a spoon or making that horrid 'ssshluuurp ahhhh' sound would bother me so much that I think I would be justfied in stabbing them in the eye with their own spoon.

I had a laugh in a coffee shop the other day actually.

Went in, sat down, asked for a coffee. Now, you can't just have a 'cofee' in these places. There are about a million names

White coffee - americano.

So our conversation went
Me "coffee please"
her
Me "just a white coffee thanks"
Her "Americano
Me "yes. A white coffee. Thank you."

I then sat, with my WHITE COFFEEEEEEEEEEEE, while she gave a clearly new staff member their induction.

Which involved her pontificating about arabica beans and the scientists who have calculated the perfect size for a coffee and that's the reason she only has that size.

And various other scientific coffee facts.

I was sniggering into my white coffee americano.

I use a teaspoon for my froth from the coffee too. I have paid for it, I will drink it how I like!
