You know what? This is all absolutely ridiculous, and some people REALLY need to get a grip and stay away from the internet for a little bit to get some perspective.
SP (another regular poster) posted in the middle of one of the endless threads saying she was trying to get advice but was off as there were no answers or support as everyone was too busy crying and falling over one single poster.
If it's putting people off posting and getting advice, it needs to stop now.
Oh, and if this is a zombie Gilly is reviving, does that not SAY something? Banned a couple of years ago, so it's hardly out of character, is it?!

Personally I liked AF as she had often responded to some of my posts and always made me laugh and was always honest.

I don't know what happened yesterday and I'm not crying over AF being banned. My life doesn't revolve around mumsnet and I'm sure she will be back. I also believe that if people are utter cunts, they should be banned.

I was a moderator on a number of different forums online in the past and am a little surprised at some of the decisions that are made on mumsnet regarding banning/suspending/removing some comments but not others.
