I sometimes wish that I had gotten married and lived a comfortable life while bringing up children just so that I could see how I would judge single parents on benefits from that perspective.
It must be hard to go through Uni and support yourself, manage to find a good job and husband and get a career, buy a house and then start a family, doing everything the right way and see all of these young people becoming pregnant and single parents, or just families on benefits - and seemingly getting money and housing thrown at them, having your wages pay for a mortgage and the tax you pay from the money that you work hard for, to help give people with no jobs to live.
I say that wholeheartedly, I'm not trying to be sarcastic.
It must also be hard though to live with your name and photograph in a national newspaper naming and shaming you about being stupid enough to believe the lies of someone and become pregnant with them only to be left desolate and with a baby to bring up.
I really hate how single mums are portrayed but understand when we really are able to live very comfortable lives and do quite litterally get money thrown at us.
