Am I wrong not to make changes to myself just for my partner to satisfy their needs?

Depends-what kind of changes are you talking about? Does he change things for you?

AnxiousLand · 17/09/2010 23:03

what type of changes?
weight loss?

MsHighwater · 17/09/2010 23:03

Not enough information to comment.

HeadFairy · 17/09/2010 23:05

it depends if it's some freaky Hitchcockian nightmare or he's asking you to not pick your toenails in bed and leave the clippings on his side.

amhavingabaday · 17/09/2010 23:06

No they want me to shave!!

AgentZigzag · 17/09/2010 23:07

There's a fine line between changing things about yourself that are causing a problem and the right you have to be yourself.

I wouldn't change my hairstyle if DH didn't like it, but I would change my shampoo if DH hated the smell.

What's bothering yer amhavingabadday? The clue's in the MN name I recon.

BitOfFun · 17/09/2010 23:07

Shave what? Your moustache or your foof?

AgentZigzag · 17/09/2010 23:08

'Down there' you mean?

AgentZigzag · 17/09/2010 23:08

'Shave what? Your moustache or your foof?'

Oh fucking Grin I was trying to be sensitive Grin

newwave · 17/09/2010 23:08

They! is this partners in the plural (confused)

Depends what is to be shaved

amhavingabaday · 17/09/2010 23:10

Yes down there - embarrassed - apparently it helps with oral.

OP posts:
lurkermalurker · 17/09/2010 23:12

come on... you should always trim your privet, it's only polite!

newwave · 17/09/2010 23:13

OK, it depends if the annoyance or upset (if any) caused to you is outweighed by the pleasure your partner(s) enjoy,

amhavingabaday · 17/09/2010 23:15

Yes your right - pleasure is good and it will mean more of it!!! hurrah!

OP posts:
amhavingabaday · 17/09/2010 23:18

Agentzigzag - nothings bothering me - well just a bit - they are not as turned on without me being trimmed. But I guess it is polite not to make it a struggle for them to find it!

OP posts:
fedupofnamechanging · 17/09/2010 23:20

I think a trim is a reasonable request. If he was asking you to get a full wax, that would not be reasonable IMO.

TrillianAstra · 17/09/2010 23:22

hair grows back.

Shave it, see if it makes oral sex better.

If the pros for you outweigh the cons, keep it short. If not, grow it back long and tell him it's your fanjo and you'll do what you like with it.

Personally I think completely bare fanjos are icky and weird. But you might not.

ChippingIn · 17/09/2010 23:22

AgentZigZag I just spluttered water all over my laptop!! Oh fucking Grin I was trying to be sensitive Grin.

Wax it all off, it's much nicer :)

TrillianAstra · 17/09/2010 23:23

Them? Are there multiple people making these requests?

If it's trimmed vs untrimmed, are they trimming theirs? It's only fair.

amhavingabaday · 17/09/2010 23:23

They want the full wax job! Its ok - just have to keep it that way - more fun in the bedroom I guess?

OP posts:
AnxiousLand · 17/09/2010 23:26

you get oral?
my goodness have the lot lasered lol

amhavingabaday · 17/09/2010 23:28

Can you have that done? how much is it and where lol

OP posts:
AgentZigzag · 17/09/2010 23:29

I tried waxing once, put the stuff on then found the pain was too much and spent the next 15 mins jumping about trying to get the fucker off.

I had no idea it'd hurt that much Shock I'm such a wuss.

Water ChippinIn?? At half eleven on a Friday? Freak Grin

amhavingabaday · 17/09/2010 23:32

LOL pmsl AgentZigzag you are funny. Maybe I'll just go for the clipping.

Meow75 · 17/09/2010 23:37

I don't trim, wax, or anything and still get plenty of action.

Shaving causes grow-back itch, waxing hurts far too much, and as for epilation - don't even think about it.

When I was a young and impressionable 18 year old, and had my first sexual relationship, I allowed my boyfriend to get away with far too much. If you do decide to do it, be ready with the fluconazole/Canestan for the thrush that you will almost inevitably get, as the hair is supposed to help trap the nasties that can cause that and other minor infections - I had a lot of trouble with that!!!
