I got a pair from my mum last Christmas and I'm a ugg worshipper now, they're so ruddy comfy I could sleep in them!
I just don't get why they are hated on MN?!

I love my Uggs. I stomp around in them in a happy, flat-footed way, as though my feet are much bigger than they are...

OP - Not read the thread, but I finally succumbed to UGGs last Christmas. I love them, when I am getting into my car in minus temperatures, they are the only item of footwear that allows me to feel vaguely toasty as the car heats up.

Haven't read the entire thread but am I the only one who finds them really uncomfortable?
Made DP buy me a pair last year but they made my ankles really, really sore.
Gave them to BF in the end, DP was pretty horrified he had paid that much to make my ankles sore for a fortnight .
