To have found that probably the most disappointing EE episode ever?

Was anyone else bored stupid with all the Peggy stuff and only watching it to find out what was going to happen with Ryan and Stacey?

No.

ElizabethWakefield · 10/09/2010 20:43

No I haven't watched Eastenders in years, but I watched it last night and tonight, and I honestly felt quite sad Blush

Poor Peggy!!

ShesEverSoFamous · 10/09/2010 20:44

I've just spend the last five minutes bubbling :(

somethinganything · 10/09/2010 20:45

oh dear, starting to feel a bit heartless now Blush

crisproll2 · 10/09/2010 21:15

I thought it was a great episode and have had a good cry!

Emo76 · 10/09/2010 21:16

agree - really boring and is it really realistic that she'd leave town like that anyway? they should have killed her off in the Vic!

PersonalClown · 10/09/2010 21:18

I was waiting for someone to be found in the ashes or something.
Sooo disappointing.

The only good thing is the return of Kat and Alfie!

Sukie1971 · 10/09/2010 21:20

How brilliant was Steve McFadden (Phil)'s acting tho?

HinnyPet · 10/09/2010 21:22

Yay Kat & Alfie! Can't wait! :)
That Peggy episode was overstretched IMO.
AND I actually felt sorry for Sam.
So all the hype about 5 major characters dying off in the fire was a load of poo as well.

Eglu · 10/09/2010 21:22

somethinganything I felt the same as you. I couldn't have cared less about Peggy leaving. The whole Phil drugs storyline has been crap, and I was happy to see Peggy go.

scrappydappydoo · 10/09/2010 21:23

Totally agree! Yawn... Only in soapland can you leave like that without sorting out insurance claims etc etc Oh well at least it wasn't in a black cab...

Mingg · 10/09/2010 21:25

Sooo boring

Marjee · 10/09/2010 21:26

Yanbu, after all the hype it was so disappointing! I thought she'd either commit suicide or go to the police and say she set fire to the pub. The whole episode was just her saying goodbye, nothing actually happened!

nevergoogle · 10/09/2010 21:29

you are totally spot on.

was just peggy going around saying cheerio.

should have blown her up or had her crushed under the bar in last night's episode, or locked into the boarded up room by phil and roasted.

alas no.

she'll be back.

arthursmum · 10/09/2010 21:34

I spent the whole episode thinking that the blisters on Phil's head made him look like a bowling ball - sort of distracted me from all the emotion.

mumbar · 10/09/2010 21:34

YANBU, I settled with a coffee eagerly awaiting Peggy to walk into the burning Vic to burn alive .............and she leave for Aunt Sals for a few days Hmm

What was with AAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLL the talking??

Yes she'll be back - next week is supposed to be a bigun so maybe we'll here she fell under a train or something on the way. Wink

somethinganything · 10/09/2010 21:35

nevergoogle gawd, do you think so? I suppose she will. She irritates me beyond belief and only seems to have three facial expressions

OP posts:
mumbar · 10/09/2010 21:35

arthersmum Grin

somethinganything · 10/09/2010 21:38

lol @ arthursmum!

mumbar yes, it'd be just like her to go quietly off-screen Grin

OP posts:
sapphireblue · 10/09/2010 21:45

She should have gone down with her ship IMO.........I was fully expecting her to refuse to leave the burning building.

somethinganything · 10/09/2010 21:47

yes, that's rather what I was hoping for expecting sapphire

somethinganything · 10/09/2010 21:48

hmm, I clearly haven't mastered the subtle art of striking out words
