the thread titles are all so serious and worthy and make me feel frivolous and unsisterly.

I got about four questions into that first questionnaire and then couldn't find an answer I agree with. Happened on quite a few, some of the questions were so leading and left no room for manoeuvre. Shame, will try the next one!

Libertarian/ individualist feminist.

As i thought.

suprised by yous Lenin - i had you down as more socialist feminist

UnquietDad · 30/08/2010 19:51

I came out as gender abolitionist too. For what it's worth.

MillyR · 30/08/2010 19:53

GC, I'm glad you don't see the oppression of women and the oppression of people with special needs as being in competition with each other. I wouldn't want someone I loved to experience either form of oppression.

I came out as revisionist also BOF.

EdgarAllInPink · 30/08/2010 19:53

some of the questions were very leading though.

BitOfFun · 30/08/2010 19:55

The most disturbibg thing about that Fenism quiz was that I found myself drooling over the woman's kitchen Hmm

noddyholder · 30/08/2010 19:56

Blimey according to that I'm a housewife don't tell dp or he'll be expecting shepherds pie

BitOfFun · 30/08/2010 19:56

gah, feminism. I can be quite fenist though- I do like a nice hill.

Crazycatlady · 30/08/2010 19:56

Apparently I'm a liberal feminist. Think it was the empowering sex question wot did it...

LG, I am an ecofeminist according to your link, so I am happier with that test than the first one.

BitOfFun · 30/08/2010 19:58

I came out as 100% socialist on that, but am still a Revisionist. I don't even know what that is.

Goblinchild · 30/08/2010 20:07

Grin Did you pay attention to the adverts around the quiz?
Gathering armies and conquering the world games, and one on weightloss!

I came out strongly as liberal/radical feminist, but I think of myself as academic/liberal in my head. So who knows?

Well, the first test said I'm gender abolitionist, which sounds reasonable.
On Lenin's one I'm a radical feminist...Not that I've got anything against radical feminists but...

Actually ,combining the two I realise I must be TheButterflyEffect Grin (sorry,TBE!)

Crazycatlady - there are no doubt plenty of women who do not want to be CEOs or famous painters.

However there are plenty of women who do and they are not given the same opportunities as men.

I think it would be an interesting topic for the feminist section.

There is all sorts of talk over there - just like on the rest of MN. Some of the threads are quite intellectual and blow the socks of me but feminism is really just about women (and men) talking about women's issues.
