to expect someone to have started a juicy thread at this time in the morning?

It's hardly fair is it? I have a boring life, DCs want me to read Dora the fucking explorer (but we've lost all the magnet bits so it's even crappier than normal), so instead I log on to good old MN to give my rather humble opinion nose in on other people's lives, and nobody has bothered to consider me! Angry

Is it too much to ask? Is it?

I feel like that most mornings :o
I have a thread running about statistics - interested?

Desperatelyseekinginspiration · 28/08/2010 06:51

Totally agree. I'm sat here waiting for something exciting to be posted, having been woken by dd at 3.30am, then had to irrigate her mouth from the plastacine she decided to chew and listen to a rendition of Poo Poo Pat.

Someone please do something to make my being awake worthwhile.

BubbaAndBump · 28/08/2010 06:54

Hmm. Statistics. Is it to do with positive correlation and all that malarky? I'm getting desperate. I might join...

Yum, plasticine for breakfast. My two are now just yelling at each other and if I hear one more version of "but I had it fi-ii-iiirst"! I will run away :o

Looks like all the sane bloody lucky mumsnetters are still in bed.

StealthPolarBear · 28/08/2010 07:13

at 3.30am

BubbaAndBump · 28/08/2010 07:16

Or maybe they're interacting with their DCs? Weirdos. :o Why in heaven's name did your DD wake at 3:30 desperately? How old is she? I bet there's nothing going on on MN at that time!

How's the stats. thread going Stealth?

OP posts:
StealthPolarBear · 28/08/2010 07:21

Not too bad thank you, I actually got loads of useful advice - thought people would avoid the thread for its dullness. :o

Desperatelyseekinginspiration · 28/08/2010 07:24

She's 2. Got a really bad cough so she couldn't sleep. Gave up trying at 5.30 and came down to eat plastacine erm play.

EmmyVonN · 28/08/2010 07:29

Agree. I was up at 1 and 5 with the baby and couldn't find any bunfights to entertain and amuse me. I do so like to gawp at other people's crazy alternative views.

BubbaAndBump · 28/08/2010 07:30

! stealth Hmm :o

Poor thing desperately - our DD2 (almost two) has the snots to beat all snots, but Medised did the trick last night. Only a couple of months past its sell-by-date Blush

I have an exciting day planned: fold away the finally dry tent from the garage, try on maternity work clothes so I can pretend to be grown up next week when I go back in my new role, do a food shop, read up on a new course I'll be teaching and entertain the troops. Bet your days aren't as exciting!

Welcome to our sad little world Emmy :)

Desperatelyseekinginspiration · 28/08/2010 07:35

Bubba Love it. I guess I could sort out my wardrobe. Get rid of all those pre dd clothes I'll never get into (2 yrs and I'm still hopeful Smile).

What's Medised? Any good for coughs?

BubbaAndBump · 28/08/2010 07:39

Glad my mundane life is amusing you desperately :o
I'm still holding onto my pre-DD1 clothes (4 yrs and counting), and holding on to the hope Hmm

I'm a big fan of Medised: it dries up the snots at night, so it's good for our one's cough as it's all snot related. >>wonders how many times she can sneak the word snot in without sounding obsessed

Well I'm international, but this pisses me off as well. I'm suppose to be the boring, so what are you lot getting up to Grin

Ignore me, I'm procrastinating and should be going to bed (especially since LO is waking every 2 hours atm.

ClimberChick · 28/08/2010 07:41

oh YANBU but you YABU to have not started a juicy thread for us all to read

BubbaAndBump · 28/08/2010 07:43

Have you not read my plans for the day climber? Do you not see how juicy my life is? It would just be too much for you all if I were to start a thread about my life - you'd all die with Envy

ClimberChick · 28/08/2010 07:43

AIBU to genuinely be interested in SPBs statistics thing?

BelleDameSansMerci · 28/08/2010 07:44

Ooooh, if you want a fight post about Medised..!

We're watching "Dora the fucking Exploer" (as she will now forever be known in my head Grin) and her fucking world adventure. It's desperate.

EmmyVonN · 28/08/2010 07:45

I've just offloaded the baby and going back to bed. Maybe when I wake up there'll be a very unusual and compelling predicament.

BubbaAndBump · 28/08/2010 07:47

Don't you love Medised then Belle? What's not to love? Shock

And btw, "Dora the Fucking Explorer" is the lesser known but official title...

Much like "Cunting Ricecakes" (too early for some?) :o
