It's hardly fair is it? I have a boring life, DCs want me to read Dora the fucking explorer (but we've lost all the magnet bits so it's even crappier than normal), so instead I log on to good old MN to give my rather humble opinion nose in on other people's lives, and nobody has bothered to consider me! Angry

Is it too much to ask? Is it?

i would have to get rid of dh for my house to stay tidy.
bloody work boots grrr

shoshe · 28/08/2010 08:55

It does help that DH works shifts Grin so that I often get weekends in peace.

Will there ever be more help with DD2?

proudnsad · 28/08/2010 08:56

Welcome/Jungle - I thought it was evening in Oz ? Anytime after 5pm on a weekend is wine o'clock in Proud household.

Desperatelyseekinginspiration · 28/08/2010 08:56

(whispers) I'm the messy one. Shhh, Don't tell anyone.

Mind you DH is still in bed and being dosed up on codiene for his broken leg is no bloody excuse.

BubbaAndBump · 28/08/2010 09:05

I'm desperately messy too desperately, but then every now and then I turn into LoonyWoman and do a blitz of things, effing and blinding at DH for being a slovenly useless thing and wishing we could live in two houses next door to each other (possibly with linking doors between the bedrooms - depending on what time of the month/pregnancy I'm at :o) Did you break his leg btw? (hoping for some juice...) :o

proud - what form of transport was your DS on at 30mph? and did you give him a big shove at the top of a hill? Shock

Shall we declare it Virtual Wine O'Clock then ladies? (only virtual 'cos I'm preggers and trying to be good)

Hehe, no although I am tempted sometimes. Motorcycle accident. Sorry to disappoint.

Bumperlicious · 28/08/2010 09:52

Oh god to Dora - makes my ears bleed! Same with Go Diego Go, DD's absolute favourite. Why are they so shouty! And they make my DD talk with an american accent...

BubbaAndBump · 28/08/2010 10:13

Luckily we only have the books, and we put on a very non-PC mexican accent and have a couple of stiff drinks to help us through it! :o

Still - they're better than Kate & Tom reading books

Okay, I haven't read all of this thread but I feel it's my duty to point you in the direction of the 'AIBU? I know I am but I'm fed up' thread - you might be sorry you ever asked for a juicy thread (warning: don't let the DCs near the screen).

It's blatantly a troll but good value entertainment.
