well am I? Posts all through the night......1am, 2am, 3am. Is there a large vampire community on MN or are you all in foreign lands?

RustyBear · 26/08/2010 08:19

There is a large and vocal MN community on the other side of the world, as Tech found out recently when they objected to server maintenance always being carried out in the middle of the (UK) night.... Grin

RustyBear · 26/08/2010 08:20

Also, of course, many people post while doing night feeds, as I would have, had I not discovered MN 15 years too late...

OnEdge · 26/08/2010 08:24

No, I dont sleep. Got a 1 year old and a new born so night times are rush hour here Grin

MN ing stops me going insane in the early hours.

TheBossofMe · 26/08/2010 08:40

Thailand calling, here. So your middle of the night is my morning at work. Check out living overseas - thread there where many of us hang out.

SweetGrapes · 26/08/2010 09:04

Was up for 2 hours last night with 7 month preggy heartburn. Perfect time to mn. Everyone is asleep and no one to grumble about me hogging the pc.
Dd used to sleep very badly - I was a regular nighttime mner then. Now thankfully she has more regular hours. Smile

sapphireblue · 26/08/2010 09:09

Ah......so my feeling of Envy that you could MN all night and have a massive lie-in are unfounded (phew!).

Jazmyn · 26/08/2010 09:10

newborn babies down sleep all night... neither do their mummies!!!! Nothing better to do when BFing than post on MN! :D

Tippychoocks · 26/08/2010 09:11

Can't sleep or settle to anything much at the moment so am posting on MN.
You'll be pleased to know I'm going out in a minute though Grin. Am not here all day.

Penelope1980 · 26/08/2010 10:08

I'm in NZ, hence the midnight posting! I think a few of us are

Heracles · 26/08/2010 10:14

I just keep unsociable hours.

ZacharyQuack · 26/08/2010 10:15

The internet goes all over the world, these days.

seenyertoeslately · 26/08/2010 10:19

I'm in Hong Kong so always feel behind, even though we are ahead.

Isawthreeships · 26/08/2010 10:20

Another kiwi here.

Goblinchild · 26/08/2010 10:22

I keep odd hours and have a PhD in the Art of the Snooze and How it Relates to the 40 Wink Theory.

BitOfFun · 26/08/2010 10:25

I was up until 6am last night talking shite with DP and drinking absinthe (it is his birthday). Am going back to bed now though. I do that kind of thing with depressing regularity.

5DollarShake · 26/08/2010 10:49

B/feeding a newborn. Grin

Morloth · 26/08/2010 10:56

Another newborn owner and frequent antipodean here. Grin

cornsillky · 26/08/2010 10:58

What's absinthe like?

pjmama · 26/08/2010 10:58

We have children, of course we don't sleep! Wink

Goblinchild · 26/08/2010 11:15

absinthe?
Vile, horrible, bitter and aaaarrrggg. Grin
Flavoured with wormwood, I drank it on a couple of occasions when I was a student, because it was illegal in the '80s in this country.

But then it's not my tipple. :)

cornsillky · 26/08/2010 14:52

Is that the stuff that kills you if you drink too much?

cornsillky · 26/08/2010 14:53

I was a student in the 80's.I feel really square now.

bramblebooks · 26/08/2010 14:58

Child with medical needs. Often up all hours. Very pleased to have the 'sisterhood' to keep me sane. :)

Goblinchild · 26/08/2010 15:05

'Is that the stuff that kills you if you drink too much?'

Not before you have the wild hallucinations.
Acquaintances of mine would buy it under the counter in Paris or Amsterdam and smuggle the bottles back to the UK.
I'd have smuggled chocolate or champagne given the choice. Grin
It starred in 'Moulin Rouge'
