FFS casual opportunistic cruelty is so loathesome, not to mention sinister.

StealthPolarBear · 25/08/2010 21:05

I think this thread is good - after all no person in their right mind could agree with the OP - who I suspect was being slightly naughty.
And yet some people, presumably in their right mind think he's a legend and a good blerk (OK that last one was just Gazza)
Madness

scottishmummy · 25/08/2010 21:05

nah not worth pulling.not contentious enough

StealthPolarBear · 25/08/2010 21:06

StealthPolarBear · 25/08/2010 21:12

were they from raoul moat's family? I hear he was a cat lover

Snobear4000 · 25/08/2010 21:12

Cat people need to lighten up innit.

NamedAfterTheBandActually · 25/08/2010 21:13

If they hadn't found her by now, would Gazza have turned up? Clutching some whiskas and a cat nip toy? Can we somehow reverse time because that I would like to see?

SingingTunelessly · 25/08/2010 21:15

Please stop. Please. Sad

SM you are right. She has had death threats. Apparently she hasn't committed a "criminal act" Hmm so isn't entitled to police protection but apparently the PCSOs have a strong presence outside her home.

(I am local-ish to her).

Anyway the PCSOs are there to do with "public order" - lots of angry people have been to her address I think.

Not sure why cruelty to an animal is not a criminal offence but I have no legal/police background.

spikeycow · 25/08/2010 21:20

Has Gazza been to see her?

AgentZigzag · 25/08/2010 21:20

You really do feel strongly that this was 'only a cat ffs', strong enough to comment on the other two threads I've seen about it and now start a 'joke' thread.

Is it just that you don't like cats, or you you're trying to get the rise out of cat owners who you know must love their cats and will say something?

bumpsoon · 25/08/2010 21:22

Well clearly it isnt a cruelty issue as she was putting the cat in the bin for its own safety ,to prevent it being run over by careless drivers Grin
(disclaimer : i actually think what she did was appalling ,but i have a sense of humour )

onepieceoflollipop · 25/08/2010 21:24

tbh it is in the cat's favour that the bin collection days are rather sporadic round here. Thankfully the owners were able to find the cat fairly quickly.

(however it did puzzle me that they had caught it all on CCTV but the cat wasn't released for 15 hours according to the reports) Confused
