I think that you lot are really uncaring and ignorant. I have read a thread where nearly all the mums have maybe a young girl feel unwanted and then went on to bitch about it.

I hope that your children become young parents so you know how it feels because you have some sort of problem with it. I think that use need to get a life and think about others. why not have a young parent section?

If it would help a lot of young parents relate to each other.

I think you all need to have a good look in the mirror.

OH by the way I love NETMUMS and the tickers Smile

Yes, fucking sorry about that Tortoise

coolma · 24/08/2010 13:25

lol.

BubbaAndBump · 24/08/2010 13:26

Seriously ladies, what's a ticker? They're talking about glittery ones over on the netmums link - I feel I should get me a glittery ticker

(Or maybe a glittery wanksplash - now that would be pretty!) :o

Are you not allowed to swear on there because they're all so young?

I like their disbelief that we aren't moderated.....very funny.

zingzillachinchilla · 24/08/2010 13:29

bubbaandbump love it!

Psammead · 24/08/2010 13:29

I don't get netmums. Do you have to join a local site? Can you only see local 'netmummies' threads, or is there a forum where everyone can post?

Can someone outside the UK join? Any netmummies reading this, can you reply on your forum for me as I can't work out how to join yours.

zingzillachinchilla · 24/08/2010 13:29

x-post Filibear

harassedinherpants · 24/08/2010 13:29

Thanks op for the amusing read during my lunch break Wink.

I have to say I'm feeling a tad soiled now after reading a few of the nm's posts.......

I particularly love this so thought I'd share it with you:
"couldnt agree more, its so boring!! im haveing a look around now.

ive found the thread you were on about kimberely. god im speechless, bunch of !!! lol"

They obviously don't have a pedants corner for spelling, grammar and punctuation! Loving the "swear filter", an actual filter???!! Priceless.......

cupcakesandbunting · 24/08/2010 13:30

Arf at glittery wanksplash. I imagine Louis Spence has lots of those.

An acquaintance referred to me as a "yummy mummy" a few months ago, simply because I'd put in a pair of sparkly earrings for an evening out. I did a massive inward cringe. It's a fucking revolting term and I hate it. I'd rather be called a pramface or whatever.

harassedinherpants · 24/08/2010 13:31

Loving wanksplash, what a fabulous word!!

I mean reply on that thread where you are all bitching about us - the one that was posted here :)

DuelingFanjo · 24/08/2010 13:31

this is the mumsnet thread the OP is talking about.

BubbaAndBump · 24/08/2010 13:31

:)

diddl · 24/08/2010 13:31

Anyone any idea what thread is being referred to in the OP?

SirBoobAlot · 24/08/2010 13:34

I don't think its because they're young, I think its because they're stupid rather precious and very Try Hard. Personal, I leave it to to help me make my judgements Grin

And yes, I have also been called a yummy mummy. I was outraged - I think she thought it was a compliment because of my age Hmm

BubbaAndBump · 24/08/2010 13:35

Not only do I not know what thread's being referred to, I genuinely don't understand what OP's trying to say happened in that thread.

Seriously now, will somebody PLEASE tell me what a fecking ticker is?

goes off wondering to self if wanksplash were indeed to be glittery, whether there might be more of it around for sheer prettiness purposes, and whether it would be wrong to use it to decorate Christmas cards with

JenaiMarrHePlaysGuitar · 24/08/2010 13:35

Pixie, I think you'll find it was an apauling raid Grin

ShadeofViolet · 24/08/2010 13:35

-Someone posted about ASDA 8p smartprice sausages.

  • People said it was a great idea for families on tight budgets.
  • Some others (myself included) said that we would rather not feed our children them as the quality would be poor for 8p, plus there were alternatives.
  • the whole thing disintergated into a class divide, we were snobs looking down on those with tight budgets and then it all ended up in a benefit bun-fight.

It was then I realised that it wasnt the place for me.

DuelingFanjo · 24/08/2010 13:36

diddle this one

whoever started the thread on netmums posted some of the replies which makes it easy to track down.

gingercat12 · 24/08/2010 13:37

Bubba I am not sure, but I believe she refers to this thread.
