I think that you lot are really uncaring and ignorant. I have read a thread where nearly all the mums have maybe a young girl feel unwanted and then went on to bitch about it.

I hope that your children become young parents so you know how it feels because you have some sort of problem with it. I think that use need to get a life and think about others. why not have a young parent section?

If it would help a lot of young parents relate to each other.

I think you all need to have a good look in the mirror.

OH by the way I love NETMUMS and the tickers Smile

:o @ Filibear

Don't go to a BBQ at her house!

JenaiMarrHePlaysGuitar · 24/08/2010 14:06

In the interests of fairness, I managed to type "grammer" at least three times on this thread (when I was a water-dwelling mammal).

And I just had to correct "thymes". Thymes? THymes? What thyme is it? WTF?

LBsmum · 24/08/2010 14:07

i wish i was a young mum im knackered

cupcakesandbunting · 24/08/2010 14:08

Oh no, do read it alouiseg. It's not like you've got anything better to do and you do want to find out about wanksplashes, don't you, hun? Grin

saltyair · 24/08/2010 14:09

Cheap sausages can be made with only 30 per cent pork and 20 per cent mechanically recovered meat (MRM), a process that sucks it from the bones and mashes it to a slimy paste.

Other ingredients include 15 per cent water, 30 per cent cereal rusk plus five per cent additives, including flavourings, colour, sugar, flavour enhancer and preservatives. Sausages of this kind are often served in schools and hospitals.

and, obviously, sparkly wanksplash.

Boak.

Actually I have only recently discovered mumsnet having used netmums for about a year. Yes they are quite different, but I wouldn't say one was better than the other.

I love mumsnet and even love reading some of the more out there responses. Very funny. I also like the fact that the mums & dads don't hold back. Sometimes people need that when they are being silly.
Obviously if it crosses the line then you should report it.

If you ask for people's opinions then you have to be prepared for all sorts of responses. Otherwise what would be the point.

saltyair · 24/08/2010 14:12

Just to clarify, I copied and pasted that, I don't just know loads about cheap sausage Grin

tortoiseonthehalfshell · 24/08/2010 14:14

Gosh, where did you find a reputable source of cheap sausage ingredients that included sparkly wanksplash?

cupcakesandbunting · 24/08/2010 14:14

I don't just know loads about cheap sausage.

I know plenty about cheap sausage.

Arf!

Apparently we are all suffering from pent-up agression.

Mine is never pent.

saltyair · 24/08/2010 14:24

cupcakes Can I join your fan club please? Grin

JenaiMarrHePlaysGuitar · 24/08/2010 14:24

I have no idea, pixie. But I did just lol Grin

Tippychoocks · 24/08/2010 14:26

I love Netmums. They are all so wise.

Why would they spend perfectly good time and technology moderating naughty words and have nothing to add to the scary spelling and punctuation? Perhaps they could * out offensive spelling as well as offensive language.

And can anyone explain to me why UR is "your" in text speak when the normal abbreviation of "yr" would work better, leaving "UR" for "You are"? Am I the only person to be upset by that?

AlCrowley · 24/08/2010 14:28

Tippychooks - yes.

Yes you are.

Grin
Psammead · 24/08/2010 14:29

No, Tippychoocks no you are not.

I still can't join their site. I am genuinely curious as to what it's like, but I don't have a UK postcode.

thank you, im glad i make some sense! as i have said i completely understand the backlash of comments, but i cannot simply attack someone for the bad spelling, grammar, etc. but thst me personally...just out of curiosity what qualifies as a unacceptable post/thread? or does it depend where you post? for instance in here you are warned above before you post, of possible negative responses? but in say the support forum is someone was rather abrupt and rude to an op would the thread be removed etc?
