I sent the OP a private message telling her(yes, it's woman) to please think about editing her post as I found it deeply offensive.

I suppose me asking if I am being unreasonable is a bit too late now though

But does anyone else find this offensive or am I overthinking things due to wine consumption tonight?

A friend of mine was a MR, she's like you - nosey interested in peoples lives. She quiet enjoyed it for a few years, but did get very fed up of struggling to get enough people who fit the criteria to do the surveys, especially the ones in shopping malls!

It's funny, I can't say I've ever given any thought as to what you do (sorry and all that) but I wouldn't have picked that
