All: Well you've come to the wrong place. FFS. Get a grip. Oh and you can't spell. etc.

I think if you just want a rant and for people to be sympathetic then it is the wrong place. Try _Chat instead if you don't want people to disagree with you.

If you just want a rant with no comeback you really shouldn't be asking 'Am I Being Unreasonable?', you should be saying 'I Am Right Everyone Back Me Up'.

Even then they might not.

AIBU is fine for a rant, just don't chuck your toys if people tell you you are a dick.

If you rant in AIBU, and don't particularly care whether you are BU or not, then just don't go back to the thread. You get to vent, so feel better, and everyone who's pissed off gets to argue. It's altruism in it's truist form.

I think the problem with AIBU is that other posters who are having a shit day and feel up for a ruck can see it as a place to let off their own steam. I may even have done it myself... (looks at feet)

AIBU is also fine for a rant, so long as you say, that you just want to rant....

95% of Posters: Yes, YABU.

OP: No I'm not and you are all bitches.

          OR

 No I'm not because (then a crap load of by stealth shit)

Rant away, but state your intention and don't ask AIBU
