Seen quite a few threads following the below pattern recently:

OP: [rants]
All: YABU
OP: I just wanted to come on here for a rant.
All: Well you've come to the wrong place. FFS. Get a grip. Oh and you can't spell. etc.

Just interested.

YABU! Some people think that just because this thread is called "Am I Being Unreasonable" they can come on here and post something TOTALLY FUCKING UNREASONABLE, then get cross & ranty because someone else points out that they're being unreasonable!!!

I mean, it says at the top of EVERY PAGE "this topic encourages posters to give their opinions - i.e. they might disagree with you" but SOME people - mentioning no namechangers; you know who are - seem to think that means they're allowed to disagree with everybody but nobody's allowed to disagree with them

Reminds me of the little girl who lived along our drive when I was small: she loved to have bike races, but insisted on a 'no overtaking' rule and a head start Mind you, I bet she's a multinational CEO now

For pete's sake, people, RANT AWAY if you want to rant, but don't expect respondents in a thread called "Am I Being Unreasonable" not to tell you if you're being unreasonable!!!!

Oh, and you might call it dyslexia or breastfeeding or posting from your phone or whatever, but we all know you can't spell
