Maybe I've now reached a certain age, but after years of him being on telly, I now look at him & think "Phwooooaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrr!"

Do you remember "The Charmer"?

I don't like him in Corrie - I can't get my head around Nigel Havers being with Audrey and kissing Deirdre It's just wrong.

Wasn't he in The Charmer too? It was in the late 1980s. He was a charming con-man, conning older widowed ladies out of their money. Maybe that's where they got the Corrie St storyline from?

I used to watch Don't Wait Up, but that was to lust after the other doctor in it (the one played by Simon Williams, NOT Tony Britton!). I always found Nigel Havers skinny with a big nose & didn't really see the attraction. But, now I've recently hit 40, phwoooarrr. And that voice....

The pilot thing was 'A Perfect Hero'. I've had a thing about him for longer than I care to remember, am cringing now remembering an old boyfriend I went out with who my friends used to call 'vision of Havers'!

Went to see him in 'Rebecca' a few years ago - dh said I was transfixed.

I am! I considered buying the entire series on DVD but it's over £100 and I'd never get around to watching it. Although, how wonderful to see every episode from the very first.

I used to love Upstairs, Downstairs when I was little. They showed them on ITV2 (I think) a couple of years ago and I watched them again then. Still love them. Blush

I saw Simon Williams in Rebecca many years ago. I sat on the front row & swooned for 2 hours.

I've got the lot on VHS (got it a few years ago!) It's on ITV2 now. I had it on series link last year when I was breastfeeding DS. I got through hours of it.
They're always selling it on Ebay. It's still my favourite series ever & Simon as James is so gorgeous. Tried to persuade DH to grow a moustache, but he refused...

He's in CORRIE? OMG.I have had a bit of a crush for decades,but nothing could get me watching Corrie.Used to like simon Williams too...Ooh er.

Maybe we'll need a new Simon Williams thread. I find Nigel currently horny, but Simon will always be my first love. DH knows that if I was to have an allowed celebrity indiscretion it would be with him. I don't care if he's 64, he'll always be young James Bellamy to me.

I wanted to marry Simon Williams when i was 8yrs old lol....1983 ohh i remember him well.
I was gutted when in 1990 the series ended.
