I would just go for it.

You will feel alittle deprived if you dont.

YunoYurbubson · 08/08/2010 09:26

More than 4 is unreasonable.

OhYouBadBadKitten · 08/08/2010 09:28

what about some fruit?

tethersend · 08/08/2010 09:31

I think we all need to take stock of our lives if living on the edge is represented by two slices of toast Grin

It's not exactly sprinkling cocaine on cornflakes, is it?

tethersend · 08/08/2010 09:32

Have some cornflakes.

Alicetheinvisible · 08/08/2010 09:34

Well i am having a cup of coffee and half a pack of biscuits and i had coco pops around 8ish.

Go on, be a devil, have another 2 slices

JuicyLips · 08/08/2010 09:34

go for more, otherwise by half ten you'll be ravenous and eat the naughty but nice things (if you're anything like me that is!)

JuicyLips · 08/08/2010 09:36

I want coffee but I've just given ds the last of the milk to have on his breakfast. Sad

QueenSconetta · 08/08/2010 09:37

I want toast now even thoughI already had fruit and fibre.

Alicetheinvisible · 08/08/2010 09:41

Juicy - the things us parents have to give up Grin

missmoopy · 08/08/2010 09:42

Have the extra toast, be a rebel!

ChasingSquirrels · 08/08/2010 09:43

can you have a poached egg with it? much more filling than just toast

PavlovtheCat · 08/08/2010 09:43

I usually have 3-4 Blush since I had ds anyway. the day after he was born, i had 5 slices on the maternity unit, like a mine sweeper, the other ladies where like this Shock but I had HG in pg so had a lot of time to make up once the placenta came out, that is my excuse now.

2 slices just does not seem very much.

thumbwitch · 08/08/2010 09:44

have something high in protein then you won't feel the need to carb-load with extra toast.
2 is plenty really, however nice it is :)

nagoo · 08/08/2010 09:44

agree that more than 4 is unreasonable.

But I always do 3 crumpets...

PavlovtheCat · 08/08/2010 09:45

are penguin bars high in protein thumbwitch? i just ate two of them Grin

ShrimpOnTheBarbie · 08/08/2010 09:45

If it was thinly sliced then 2 is definitely unreasonable.

While on my weightloss journey I've learnt to eat to hunger - so if you're hungry, eat. Maybe get some protein on the toast before you eat the whole loaf, though!

tethersend · 08/08/2010 09:45

Have some wine, that'll take the edge off your appetite.

PavlovtheCat · 08/08/2010 09:46

sprinkle on some cocaine. that will also take the edge off wanting any more.

EccentricaGallumbits · 08/08/2010 09:48

drak all the wine last night and am all out of fresh cocaine. I did have cherry conserve on my extra toast though. Delicious but looked just like blood clots.

Ha ha ha!

I had 4 the other day... and felt bad. But i smothered them with laughing cow, telling myself the calcium would do the bump good!

thumbwitch · 08/08/2010 09:50

lol Pavlov - NO! barely any protein at all, unless you're talking about the feathered variety ;) in which case 2 is sheer piggery Grin

Alicetheinvisible · 08/08/2010 09:51

How about cheese or beans?

PavlovtheCat · 08/08/2010 09:52

ah. so i shall be hungry again in 5 mins then

tethersend · 08/08/2010 10:02

I keep mine with the cornflakes, Pavlov.
