DH, DP

I've just been on another thread and lots of people were talking about toileting. Got me thinking, it seems lots of people don't mind.

So that's my question would you?.

OP posts:
MoonUnitAlpha · 28/07/2010 22:48

Wee yes, but to poo I want some privacy

MrsRhettButler · 28/07/2010 22:48

i wee but not poo

Poledra · 28/07/2010 22:48

Only post-surgery when the medical staff wouldn't take me (threatened with a bedpan ) and DH took me to the loo and had to stay with me in case I fell. Oh, and during labour with DD1 too (I was scared to be on my own )

deemented · 28/07/2010 22:49

I will pee in front of the manshape, and him me, but i won't poo in front of him.

He'd happily shite in front of me, but he always stinks like summats crawled up his arse and died, so, no thanks...

littlesez · 28/07/2010 22:52

Poledra! thats funny, me too. I never pee infront of OH but in labour I needed someone to come to the toilet with me as didnt want to be on my own, oh and to to bring the gas and air as It couldnt leave my side!

Poshwellies · 28/07/2010 22:52

Wee if desperate.

No to shitting.Bad enough entering the toliet 15 minutes after dh's has emptied his bowels, let alone stood there making small talk while hes doing it.

Puke worthy and grim.

fernie3 · 28/07/2010 22:53

wee yes poo not by choice but since my wonderful son kicked the lock off the bathroom door my husband seems to think it is fair game to wander in a strike up a conversation mid poo - he will also call me in to discuss some issue or another with him if he is visiting the toilet - its like a little hub of actvitiy in there...I should fix the lock.

ZacharyQuack · 28/07/2010 22:53

Oh dear god no

laweaselmys · 28/07/2010 22:56

NO!!!!

Okay, a few babies down the lin. When it's all pee and no control. Maybe I would have a wee. But anything else? No way. Will never be that desperate.

diddl · 28/07/2010 22:56

It doesn´t bother me if someone walks in whilst I´m on the toilet tbh.

They can stay or not as suits them!

If I want peace I lock the door.

otchayaniye · 28/07/2010 23:00

A piss is fine, although I don't go out of my way to pee in front of others.

I won't shit in front of anyone, except my daughter (21 months and doesn't often leave my side, also may get her used to the idea of a potty)

thecaptaincrocfamily · 28/07/2010 23:01

Wee yes/ poo no.

My ex DH used to come in the bathroom and have a poo while I was in the bath (Yuk!) Thats wasn't the reason he is an ex mind

Doesn't happen now because we have a seperate toilet

MrsSawdust · 28/07/2010 23:01

Wee yes poo no.

DH doesn't care.

shockers · 28/07/2010 23:04

We will happily of each other but pooing... no, no, no! The DCs don't have such high standards though...

diddl · 28/07/2010 23:04

Husband works long hours & after the drive home his first stop is usually the bathroom.

When the children were younger they would run up after him to tell him about their day.

It wasn´t unknown for me to join them

shockers · 28/07/2010 23:05

insert "wee in front" between happily and of and my last post should make sense.

bibbitybobbityhat · 28/07/2010 23:09

Can we have the full question in the thread title please?

TheCrackFox · 28/07/2010 23:12

wee yes, poo no.

MaeMobley · 28/07/2010 23:14

No, neither wee nor poo.

NancysGarden · 28/07/2010 23:15

I think pooing in front of your OH would kill the "magic" somewhat.

DancingThroughLife · 28/07/2010 23:17

wee yes, poo no (apart from in labour, which we do not talk about )

PassMeTheKleenex · 28/07/2010 23:22

Bibbity - are there many other options to insert in this question??

Were you more inclined to answer if the question was

"Do you wee/poo in front of...

...your boss?
...the vicar?
...your house?

Wee yes, poo no.

Lynli · 28/07/2010 23:22

No, familiarity breeds contempt.

bibbitybobbityhat · 28/07/2010 23:26

Your mother?

Your neighbour?

Your fellow campers?

Your cat?

boobmanagement · 28/07/2010 23:28

yes to both..
