Do you realise that you have neighbours who would sometimes like to sit in their gardens at some point in July/August and enjoy some peace and quiet!

Sorry.

I've told them bed by 8, so you only have another 40 minutes to go........

pjmama · 23/07/2010 19:23

Misery guts.

southeastastra · 23/07/2010 19:24

PositiveAttitude · 23/07/2010 19:25

it's only 7.30!!!

AncientStarlight · 23/07/2010 19:27

You could buy some ear plugs. Go on, it'll help the UK economy.

JaxTellersOldLady · 23/07/2010 19:28

and while we are on the subject of peace and quiet, I would very much like it if your yappy little dogs would shut the fuck up when I am in MY garden being quiet!

colditz · 23/07/2010 19:28

yes I do realise that, and don't actually care.

domesticdiva · 23/07/2010 19:29

Do you realise that you can get earplugs for a pound in Poundland, or even better get them for free if you go abroad and travel on a non-pressurised aircraft? Get a grip and go indoors to watch Countdown, miserable git!

TheCrackFox · 23/07/2010 19:29

You should have worked harder so you could afford a lovely big house on a nicer street.

izzybiz · 23/07/2010 19:31

Do you realise that your neighbours children have every right to enjoy their garden in any way they wish?

SomeGuy · 23/07/2010 19:35

yes thanks.

katiestar · 23/07/2010 19:38

one of my neighbours shouted at my dc to "shut the fuck up, you little brats" the other day. Am planning to go round and kill him if he does it again (his garden diagonally backs onto ours so it's quite a hike to get there - if you're wondering why I haven't done it yet). On the plus side 3 new houses have just been built right next to his house and I am so hoping REALLY noisy families move into all of them.

fedupand50ish · 23/07/2010 20:08

Just the sort of selfish comments expected, no understanding for others. Yes I have had children but would never have thought to allow them to make other peoples lives a misery.

OP posts:
bananalover · 23/07/2010 20:12

FGS...get a life. I spend every evening worrying about people like you, forever telling my DC's to keep the noise down in the garden.
You have to understand that children tend to be noisy. Remember when you were a kid?

fedup - when you next move, do everyone a favour, check the house on google earth and don't buy if you see a trampoline on the street.

I'm sure you're jesting! If not, exercise your NT membership and have a nice sit in the coutryside somewhere.

TheCrackFox · 23/07/2010 20:17

Have you thought about actually speaking to the parents of the children to see if you can come to some sort of solution? Or are you just planning on moaning?

Would you rather the kids were inside all day, watching the TV and getting fat?

fedupand50ish · 23/07/2010 20:18

Thanks, bananalover, that at least someone does try. That's all I ask, but a lot seem to think that their little darlings should be allowed to run riot from July to September regardless of those nearby.

OP posts:
Flisspaps · 23/07/2010 20:18

Doesn't sound like you need the children to make your life a misery, you grumpy sod.

fedupand50ish · 23/07/2010 20:20

Inside and T.V. and stuffing their faces with crisps sounds good.

OP posts:
Flisspaps · 23/07/2010 20:22

Wouldn't you rather they had something less noisy to eat, just in case? Perhaps some sandwiches?
