To everyone who responds with "Is this all you have to worry about", well no, but why does everything in your life have to be high drama / of utmost seriousness?
Sometimes, you use AIBU just to vent a little about something that winds you up!

I agree, YANBU

StealthPolarBear · 23/07/2010 09:39

oh come on someone has to come on and ask if this is all I have to worry about today

OP posts:
PlumBumMum · 23/07/2010 09:39

YADNBU I think this too, thought it was about having the occassional moan,

Yes I have some very important things to worry about but ......................it does niggle me if the same colour clothes pegs are not on the same piece of clothing!!!!

chimchar · 23/07/2010 09:39

yanbu at all!

AlistairSim · 23/07/2010 09:40

YABU.

If this is all you have to worry about, you don't know you're born!

Blah, blah, blah.

PlumBumMum · 23/07/2010 09:40

forgot my although I am serious about the pegs (sshhh don't tell anyone)

StealthPolarBear · 23/07/2010 09:44

PBM you are mad Off to peg my washing out, with whatever peg happens to be to hand when I reach in the box

OP posts:
Oblomov · 23/07/2010 09:44

Oh yes, I hate this. I have lots of ishhoeess me. all totally minor. but they upset/worry me.
I don't have anything serious: horrible mil/dh having affairs/ mum dying.cancer. i have lost lost a young child.
Now those are serious.
But my petty problems still warrant a discussion. why shouldn't they ?

traceybath · 23/07/2010 09:45

YANBU

I also often fixate on minor niggles rather than obsessing about bigger worries which works for me

StealthPolarBear · 23/07/2010 09:46

Oblomov - do you mean you have or haven;t lost a child??

OP posts:
PlumBumMum · 23/07/2010 09:47

Oblomov sometimes when we have big things going on it is the little stuff that irrates

Oblomov · 23/07/2010 09:48

no sorry . bad typing. haven't. had a ms. but i meant a young child dying

StealthPolarBear · 23/07/2010 09:48

Hey if you want to do it I haven't actually started yet...

OP posts:
toccatanfudge · 23/07/2010 09:48

YADNBU - how many people that say that, when with RL friends only talk about happy stuff, or "major" stuff?

None I reckon - bet they all have a little moan about something.

I started a thread the other day being p*ssed off at a company ringing me and giving me the "we're just rining to remind you" (cue heart in mouth moment thinking i'd missed a payment) - when they just wanted to sell me an extended warranty. Was fairly skint at the time (15p in bank and £7.50 in my wallet and still had to buy nappies and milk that day).

Someone posted to tell me that I wasn't skint blah blah blah

I JUST WANTED A FUCKING MOAN (and I was skint - if I had missed the payment I certainly didn't have the £60 to pay it!

StealthPolarBear · 23/07/2010 09:49

I'm still not sure, but I think not, that's a relief.

OP posts:
Oblomov · 23/07/2010 09:58

same coloured pegs ????
wouldn't it thus be better to get the au naturel wooden ones then. solve the problem.
oh sorry. shouldn't be giving advice. not on petty woes.
who has got a biggy then. and i don't mean the small cock thread. i mean who has a got a big issue. if thats all we're allowed to discuss ?

StealthPolarBear · 23/07/2010 10:02

Well my job's at risk, which is a big issue for me, but obviously doesn't compare to some of the stuff people on here are going through.
Actually good point - what if your "big issue" is trumped by another poster? You may as well deregister surely, come back when you've got a real problem!

OP posts:
toccatanfudge · 23/07/2010 10:03

oh now come on SPB - lots of people's jobs are at risk - what you complaining about......

gerontius · 23/07/2010 10:04

YABU.
Some people have real problems in their lives. How dare you not be completely serious in AIBU?

Morloth · 23/07/2010 10:04

No fun for you.

Everything is deadly serious, all comments no matter how kindly intended must be interpreted as a judgement/personal attack.

misdee · 23/07/2010 10:05

sure you must co-ordinate your pegs to the colour of your clothes?

PlumBumMum · 23/07/2010 10:05

OI same coloured pegs is a BIG thing to me, hate wooden ones they go mouldy, my mum bought me pegs in 3 different shades of blue I swear I had palpitations just looking in the bag!

StealthPolarBear · 23/07/2010 10:05

actually my job's not at risk, the organisation I work for will cease to be by 2012/13.
Is that better?
And I've lost my dog...oh no wait I never had a dog...

OP posts:
StealthPolarBear · 23/07/2010 10:07

misdee, go and join PBM in the peg freak corner.

OP posts:
toccatanfudge · 23/07/2010 10:07

no - lots of people in the same boat Stealth - you don't know what worry about losing your job is. Think of all those people that have already lost their jobs
