To everyone who responds with "Is this all you have to worry about", well no, but why does everything in your life have to be high drama / of utmost seriousness?
Sometimes, you use AIBU just to vent a little about something that winds you up!

When I was on maternity leave I colour coordinated my pegs

YouKnowNothingoftheCrunch · 23/07/2010 10:09

Your job's at risk?! You don't know you're born! In my day if our jobs were at risk we 'ad to sit on the kerb all day and be poked at and mocked by anyone passing. If we were lucky they kicked us into the road and we got trampled by horses. And that's if we were lucky!

And we were grateful for it!

PlumBumMum · 23/07/2010 10:09

see what you started SPB a lighthearted thread that I can see going very serious someone is going to come and tell misdee, Riverofsleep & I that we have deep seeded mental iiisshhoooos

BuckaroosLasso · 23/07/2010 10:10

It ranks up there alongside "You have too much time on your hands" Really Passive Agressive - nothing wrong with having a bit of free time or mouthing off about small niggles.

There will always be someone worse off than you.

Oblomov · 23/07/2010 10:11

Job at risk ? paaah. thats nothing. do we have to rate all woes, on a scale of 1 to 10, in the thread title ?

Oblomov · 23/07/2010 10:13

Plum we already knew that. didn't warrant a comment !

StealthPolarBear · 23/07/2010 10:13

YouKNowNothing I find your post really hurtful, I am actually a human dartboard but it's all I've ever known, you know? I'll be really upset if it's taken away from me.

Oblomov what do you mean? AIBU to worry that peg anxiety might be the result of only having pegs to play with as a child, all I could do was count & sort

(cue violins)

StealthPolarBear · 23/07/2010 10:21

Just back from hanging out DS's blue bedding with my white, pink and yellow pegs

YouKnowNothingoftheCrunch · 23/07/2010 10:24

SPB, hurtful?! In my day we dreamed about hurtful, we longed fer it. Hurtful were what we strived to get to, living in our one room hole. There were 60 of us in there.

Hurtful! Ha!

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 23/07/2010 10:26

YANBU

My pegs are all wooden so I don't have the problem of colour selection.

But can I ask how d'fuck did you get your oven so clean??

ronshar · 23/07/2010 10:33

You think you have problems.
I dont have colour coordinated pegs, I have no job and my ds thinks it is funny to wee everywhere else than in the potty.

So get a grip on yourself woman.

Ps do you have a post code SPB. I am worried my donation wont reach you without it?

Lynli · 23/07/2010 10:34

You can buy pegs in packs of all one colour.
This saves time choosing and still looks neat. You see if you had my time management skills you wouldn't have these problems.

StealthPolarBear · 23/07/2010 10:34

really BL - you must have a very small bottom, they are my 3yo's pants
No way would my knickers be on MN, they are too shameful!
