Ages of yourself and your children

Just that really - how old was you when you adopted and how old was your children.

I was 46 and he was nearly 8. I always intended to adopt an older child but was thinking more around 5/6. I looked at children from 4 though, he was the oldest.

We were 41 and 42 and they were 5 and 6.

Hi, I was 35 and my daughter was nearly 5. She's only aged a few years, I've aged about 20 (especially in lockdown!) 😁

We were 29 and my son was 3.

We were 31 and 33 and our baby boy was 13 months when he came home x

30 and three months my first.

I am 52 years older than my youngest child who I fostered from a very young baby before adopting.

I think a lot of the responses are younger than is typical! I was 42 and adopted a baby (under 1). DH was 40.

I was 32 and my husband 41. Our son was 2 and a half when he came home.

Husband was 44, I was 39. Kids were 2.5 and 3.5.

I was 34. Children were 2 and 4.

Me 65 DH 62 when AD age 3 1/2 when placed! Don't ask🤔

I was 39, DH was 45 and my son was 3 when we adopted. 😁

I was 42, husband 45 and kids were 4, 5 and 6 (only 7 weeks off being 7).

I was 28 and he was around 18 months.

DD1 - I was 35 and DW was 31, she was 18 months. DD2 - I was 38 and DW was 34, she was just under 1.

We were both 40 and she was 2.

I was 37, partner 43 and kids 6 months and 18 months

38 and DH 48 the first time round (2.5 years)
41 and 51 the second time round (1.5 years).

I would have been 35 and 39 when they were born.

I was 40, husband 42 & we adopted 3&4 yr olds.

I was 40, DH 38, DD1 was 4 months. Then 18 months later DD2, came along at 7 months.

I was 48 DD was 9 months when she came to us, have 4 grown up children youngest 19 and oldest 27 at the time.

Both 29 and little man was 4 days old 😍

Hi, 8 weeks in! I'm 47, DP is 42, and our two wee ones are 1 and 2.5.

First time I was 38 and DS was 18 months, second time (4 weeks in) I am 43 and DD 8 months

I was 37 and DS was 12 months old.
