Is it usual/typical for letters from parents to include 'when you are 18 and we meet again....' type stuff.

Letter from birth mum included a few 'wonderful future together' type references.

Putting aside the heart crushing 'she thinks I am babysitting' element (because that is about me not the girls) how would you couch the tone to your children?

Wow. If I square my points for siblings I manage 16 points. Do I get to double that for adopting the third sibling, although that one was under 2 and blue eyed so I'll lose a bit there. Damn my kids for being so adorable. But at least they match the car.

Have you noticed I'm now lying a bit low on this thread? That's because I've only got six points . My credibility is shattered. I would try to claim extra credit for being a rainbow family but I fear that in 2015 that one is fading fast...

When I was much much younger I read a book which I thought was called the rainbow family. It was about a family in America who adopted loads of children and since adopting I have been trying to find the book so I can read it again. But not getting the name right or knowing the author I'm a bit stuffed.
Any idea anyone??
