I have been on the receiving end of this, an elderly person assuming that we were not entitled to use the space. They can be quite horrendous and nasty.

They just don't seem to get that kids can have disabilities too.

Surely the old geezer's beef wiht Jord was that she was parking there and going to Toys R Us when the space was meant for Comet customers? If that's the case he probably had a point...

Anyway, surely her kids have all the stuff that they sell in Toys R Us by now? Both her and Pete are photographed buying about 50 huge bags of assorted tat from there most weeks. They should be on commission.

well as I know that store.. you can park in the comet bay and go in Toys r us and the other way round.

I had a lovely friend who had Cystic Fibrosis when I was 19 - she had to deal with people openly questioning her right to use a disabled space.
Thankfully she was a patient and kind person who just smiled and ignored them. But it wasn't easy!

Geniveve, that bloody retail park is hell.
There are about 8 bays for the entire park, several large retail stores.
I've had to use the comet space to go to tRu before.

I feel sorry for Katie Price, she has every right to use this space. The other couple seem very mean spirited to say the least.

She was wrong in not letting it lie though - following the irritating old git into Comet after he'd gone to have another rant...

Still, I can understand why she did; there are some very very belligerent unpleasant old gits out there (& what is it with them assuming disabled = old?)

Had some miserable old git have a go at my clearly able bodied DH when he was loading my mothers shopping in to our car, DH parks in a normal bay once we take mum out of the car and then moves to a wide disabled bay so we can get mum back in as we do not have her blue badge yet.

So DH is loading the shopping (at least 30 empty disabled bays by the way and the old git was not disabled nor using a bay just wanted to to be a massive twat)
Anyway he kicks off and DH just ignores him and I stroll up with mum minus a leg in her wheelchair and the old git goes oh um well, to which I reply oh yes well fuck off you sad old bastard.

If KP had her child in the car then she was entitled to park in the space.
