She would do anything to get her plastic face in the papers

jenduff · 06/04/2010 10:00

Agree with everything that Fio says - have been there so many times myself - used to use wheelchair and have disabled child.

Most days I would just smile and ignore but after a while it gets on your nerves and you start to give back.

Not a fan but feel sorry for KP in this situ.

Ponders · 06/04/2010 10:01

much more delightful detail in the Mail, including *

They've tidied it up from when it was first written though - then it said "Harvey is blind & suffers from autistic spectrum which causes him to gain weight & have difficulty walking"

Ponders · 06/04/2010 10:04

oh fio, I know they started it

But they had the ding dong in the car park, & then the old gits had gone into Comet, but she was so boiling (which I can understand, honestly) she went after them & started it off again, which is when the police were called.

At the end of the day, celebrity or not, she is a mum with a disabled child and was entitled to park in that space.

A lot of us would have reacted negatively or gotten upset at being unfairly treated in this way.

Katie Price is definitely unique and I don't always agree with the way she goes around things, but she has made herself a wad of money through her business, is a loving mum and I am sure tries her best to be a good person - she must put her head in her hands sometimes to read some of the shit that is written about her and her family.

I respect her for that.

GooseyLoosey · 06/04/2010 10:21

Agree about oaps and disabled spaces.

I once parked in one, got my 2 small children out and then before I could do anything an old woman with a walking stick launched into a tirade about people with children thinking they were entitled to the earth and abusing disabled parking spaces. She was waving her stick at me! While she was ranting, I got the wheel chair out of the boot and lifted my very disabled father into it. At which point she apologised and said that I should have said something. I pointed out that it would have been much better if she had said nothing and left it at that.

QuintessentialShadow · 06/04/2010 10:25

the silly moo cant get anything right.

The ONE occasion she takes her child out she gets abuse for parking in a disabled space.

Geeez, some people should not even drive.

Piffle · 06/04/2010 10:26

I have a DD with visual impairment (she has no depth perception) and she has a blue badge
However I so rarely use it now as am sick of the abuse

MrsForHowLong · 06/04/2010 10:27

No links are working, maybe she's had all of the stories pulled???

AmazingBouncingFerret · 06/04/2010 10:31

I was wondering why the links arnt working...
More media compo for katie methinks!

gorionine · 06/04/2010 10:33

So if you are famous your dc's disability does not exist? She was definitely entitled to the disabled place!

GooseyLoosey you did so well to let her finish her rant and still have the last word!

Ponders · 06/04/2010 10:51

BBC & DM links both now have in the URL - if you delete it the news stories will still appear...

Ponders · 06/04/2010 10:54

In fact a new link (without ) will work, so it's just those 2 on here that have been disabled - I wonder if MN did that?

cornsilk · 06/04/2010 10:54

wonder if she had her camera crew with her....

dawntigga · 06/04/2010 10:58

Katy Price went through what normal people who are young go through when using disabled parking places. Why is this news?

Doesn'tGetTheSlebThingTiggaxx

ImSoNotTelling · 06/04/2010 11:27

"The man was inside the store when Jordan suddenly appeared. She stormed after him and let rip one again"

Well that's one way of dealing with people who piss you off

noddyholder · 06/04/2010 13:05

why the wtf herbie ? she is a fame whore and sells her life to the highest bidder!I know she has a right to the space if she has her son with her but she will like even this bad publicity! She is the first to admit her face is the result of some over zealous intervention

WinkyGirl · 08/04/2010 13:47

Can someone just clarify something for me: if Harvey did not get out of the car they should not use the disabled parking space should they?

I not saying he did or he didnt but there is no mention of him being seen.

2shoes · 08/04/2010 13:49

even in the local paper they didn't say if he was in the car.
