It's 'breaking news' on the BBC!

The statement came from her spokesperson.

UQD, not a fan of Cashley's then?

It was inevitable, hardly breaking news I'd have thought

She does sad so well though, with her big brown eyes, I'd be covered in snot, puffy and red.

sungirltan · 23/02/2010 17:19

UQD - i love mls

good for cheryl and not before time - cashely is an utter twunt!

TheChicOfIt · 23/02/2010 17:20

fishie - me too, after all that detective work I want to see if we were right! !!

UnquietDad · 23/02/2010 17:20

bagpuss - frighteningly, a solution presents itself. He has a brother...

Lizzylou · 23/02/2010 17:22

I am awaiting the Britannia Leisure Centre sordid secrets coming out, my google history is very suspect since then.
Went to type "Amazon", first thing that came up was "Ashley Cheryl Dogging".

Must sort that before DH sees it and gets any ideas

drloves8 · 23/02/2010 17:23

poor girl.

MarineIguana · 23/02/2010 17:27

UQD - d'you think she'll have you? (in your popstrel dreams )

Yes tis total sleb twaddle but you can't help cheering for her. He's had it coming for a long time and it's great to see a woman in the public eye refuse to put up with any more crap and kick the cheating idiot out.

UnquietDad · 23/02/2010 17:30

Marine - nah, not for me. You must know I'm holding out for Sarah.

As the Mail points out (shudder) it does look a bit like a "property of" cattle-brand.

Oh dear I wish slebs would learn re the tats. Surely they should ask themselves what are the chances of it lasting? Not enough for a tattoo, even in normal-world.

What could she change it to... how about "Mrs Coleoptera" or "Mrs Coleslaw"

UnquietDad · 23/02/2010 17:50

Like Johnny Depp and his "Wino(na) forever"

MrsChemist · 23/02/2010 17:54

You could get a bigger tattoo over it. I mean, she can afford the laser surgery, but it would be nice if she did something inventive with it.

LouMacca · 23/02/2010 18:08

Ha ha love it RubysReturn! [grin}

Good for Cheryl. Shame Toni couldn't do the same.

wannaBe · 23/02/2010 18:16

why on earth do people care?

And why on earth do people love her so much? It's not as if she's a loveable sweetheart is it? What was it she was convicted of again? GBH wasn't it?

People never make mistakes do they?

They never change or infact grow up, fair enough if it was a regular occurance...

People care for all sorts of reasons, i bet most people commenting don't though, it's just something to pass the time.

I don't understand why people go to the trouble of posting on a thread they care not about to ask why people care, makes no sense to me.

RoseWater · 23/02/2010 18:33

I know she's plastered all over the papers and she's not known for being a gentle soul but do feel sorry for her with the world knowing about her husbands infidelity.

orienteerer · 23/02/2010 18:36

CC tattoo will become Cheryl Cowell

UnquietDad · 24/02/2010 00:03

It's interesting from a sociological, PR and marketing point of view. "Cheryl Tweedy" was a real person. "Cheryl Cole" as a solo artiste and talent show judge is a construct. It's almost a Blade Runner replicant which has had most of its original features erased and has been rebuilt by PR, airbrushing, make-up, stylists and advisors. Now it has had an Ashley-ectomy. It'll be interesting to see how far, stripped of the useless organ, the brand reverts to its previous function, or whether it enters a new period of re-invention.

UnquietDad · 24/02/2010 01:01

BBC News page says "Cheryl Cole announces separation." Does that mean there will be two of her now? Or more?? Well, look, if there's a spare one going, then I'm not fussy...

noddyholder · 24/02/2010 08:30

I think a lot of footballers are like him coupled with her mum living with them recipe for disaster!I do think they'll get back together though
