I had a quick look and don't think anyone else has started a new thread? Does anyone fancy/have time to post a list of emails or RL descriptions from the last thread, as a start point for new members to the gang?

Ooh, a new thread - the old one filled up fast didn't it (I seem to remember saying that last time...)?

Framey - I've added you; hope you don't mind.

I was doing quite well at keeping my FV addiction under control (i.e. hidden from DH) until the collectables started; now I get nervous if I'm away from the computer for more than a few minutes in case I've missed one. It seems to have got a bit easier to complete collections over the last few days (maybe with all these chains we've got going) and I'm only five collections away from my red ribbon now. Actually three as I've got two more to post, but I know that if I do it now I may well be up for another hour or so, so think I'll leave it till tomorrow! Also, I had a few problems getting the last two collections to post so hope things will have settled down by then too.

a bit off topic...
If you read a post by Knicknack would you probably assume it was me?

She agreed weeks ago to change her name but still hasn't. Feels kinda weird and I find myself posting less.

Any suggestions? I asked again if she would consider a namechange as I've been using this one for so long...but she either hasn't seen the posts or has chosen to ignore them. sigh...

oooooo haven't followed you link - but yes I would think it was you. That is incredibly similar.

Have you started a thread asking her (nicely) to change - I've seen a few threads started asking someone to please name change as the general consensus on MN is that really really similar name changes aren't good.

yep, we had a chat about it on a thread a few weeks ago and she seemed happy to change...or so I thought. I also asked again on a thread about weaning that she started (so was sure she would see it) last week.
I don't want to look like I'm hounding her, or risk making a really big deal out of it.

TBH I would start a thread in some where popular ie chat saying "knicknack is not me" or something....but keep it nice iyswim

Especially if you have asked her to change name in past....

Framey - mystery gifts are always good (for me, anyway). I've finished my stable now so don't need any more stable-related gifts, but anything else is fine. I sold off most of my animals and a lot of my trees when I got my blue ribbons, but am wishing I'd kept a few more now that you can get collectables from them...
