Good riddance as far as I am concerned.

Here

NoBiggy · 07/01/2010 11:04

Yesterday's man, imo.

Molesworth · 07/01/2010 11:05

I just hope the BBC puts Mark Kermode in the Film 2010 (etc) chair.

notnowbernard · 07/01/2010 11:05

I don't find him remotely entertaining, amusing or watchable

I think it's a shame - I think he is really funny

Openbook · 07/01/2010 11:07

Goodo - why should i pay for that w..... silly man.

preggersplayspop · 07/01/2010 11:07

I thought he had kindly offered to reduce his £18m contract by 'up to' 50% given the current economic conditions. Looks like someone didn't want to take him up on the offer...

Louby3000 · 07/01/2010 11:08

Thank god, well past it IMO, he has some awful attitudes.

nickytwotimes · 07/01/2010 11:08

He's due a move imo.
GOt bored of the same act a few years ago.

SqueezyIsStartinAResolution · 07/01/2010 11:14

Good riddance from me too. I find him about as funny as a punch in the face. Big fat lipped letch that he is.

Tortington · 07/01/2010 11:16

i like him

Ronaldinhio · 07/01/2010 11:18

i want to not like him but really like his show and i loved his radio show (in the days when I listened)
i think he'll be missed

brightwell · 07/01/2010 11:19

At last!!

GrimmaTheNome · 07/01/2010 11:20

Hooray!

Saturday Night could be quite funny but I'm sure there's lots of other people could do it just as well for non-ridiculous fee.

WTF with all that dosh could he never do anything about that awful floppy hair.

SixtyFootDoll · 07/01/2010 11:21

I like him but he is not worth all that money
ANd a bit past it now

lambanana · 07/01/2010 11:24

I agree SFD

Clayhead · 07/01/2010 11:25

I like him but I don't think a move is such a bad thing for him either.

nigelslaterfan · 07/01/2010 11:41

i think it's time too. He inadvertently dealt a damaging blow to the BBC (although I really blame the Radio 2 management who had become totally blase and had no desire to even keep an eye on Brand. Ross should have been confident that the tape was thoroughly legalled pre transmission) and time has not entirely healed the wound.

I think it is time for him to move on and give his slots to fresh blood and yes Molesworth yes I hope MK gets the Film 2010 slot! Oh let it be so! Shall we start a campaign?

Heated · 07/01/2010 11:44

Ross no loss

Ohforfoxsake · 07/01/2010 11:44

He's had a good innings, but past his prime.

I for one won't notice if he's on my telly or not.

darcymum · 07/01/2010 11:45

Hooray!

Just as long as they don't replace him with somebody equally as expensive (or greedy).

BonjourIvressedeNoel · 07/01/2010 11:46

Wonder who will do saturday mornings on Radio 2? Hope its not Lamarr. Jo brand was good as was lisa tarbuck.

BendyBob · 07/01/2010 11:49

So
Farewell then
Wossy

A big salary
A big ego

Now
the big E

Will we miss you?
Pwobably not

Curiousmama · 07/01/2010 11:52

bendybob

I once complained to the BBC about his behaviour on Friday night. Didn't hear back.
I'm no prude but he'd been an utter twat.

Still like Friday night though and will miss that, hopefully it'll stay with different presenter?

GrimmaTheNome · 07/01/2010 11:54

Why did I say Saturday?

Anyway, agree with Curious and hope they keep the Four Poufs.

BalloonSlayer · 07/01/2010 11:54

Yay!

Off you fuck you awwogant pwat.
