Have promised myself i will only play 4 games so if i start zoo then have to give another one up iyswim

2shoes · 01/01/2010 22:12

ok folks
what do I do with the fruit on Country life

simpson · 01/01/2010 22:18

2shoes - what fruit do you have??

Awassailinglookingforanswers · 01/01/2010 22:18

2shoes - you can use it to make Jam (if you can buy a jam maker - if not just save it until you do, or sell it)

Simpson - I just tested for you bought a cherry tree - and I did indeed get 5xp

I'm officially quitting all games but Zoo World and Famrville - single parenthood, OU course, plus church stuff just isn't going to fit with any more games

Oh and I'll keep having a play on Bejewelled as well of course

Happy new year everyone.
Ball thing on FV gave me level up this morning and said from 4th January will give fuel presents so will wait till monday if it does.If not will sell it as takes a lot of space and is so ugly.
Got aquestion about FV does petting the animals have any purpose?

2shoes · 01/01/2010 22:30

i have a jam maker, but it only lets me use honey or grapes

simpson · 01/01/2010 22:31

there is a switch on it you can click on to use fruit from trees etc combined with honey

2shoes · 01/01/2010 22:34

lol I see it now thanks
wondered what use the trees were

simpson · 01/01/2010 22:36

you don't get as much money with fruit from tree as grapes but still worth it!!

2shoes · 01/01/2010 22:40

i think it will take me 100 years to get the next sized farm

simpson · 01/01/2010 22:46

LOl what sized farm are you going for??

You need a bread maker if you do not have one already, thats where the £££ is

Jux · 01/01/2010 23:13

Every time I go onto FarmVille my computer switches off! It manages for about 10 minutes and then it dies horribly.

Anyone any ideas why this happens? It doesn't happen on Country Life or Farm Town, so I've deduced it's a prob with FarmVille.

Awassailinglookingforanswers · 01/01/2010 23:18

not sure - but I was having problems 1/2hr ago or so - kept getting the "Farmville has been enhanced" and having to refresh the page while planting my raspberries - I now have to stay up until 1am (was aiming for 12.30 latest tonight) so they don't go to waste and I can get my pumpkins planted for overnight

Thanks for the jaguar.

Awassailinglookingforanswers · 01/01/2010 23:22

np - you want any more let me know

blimey - you didn't tell me I'd have to breed 2 more medium animals before I got up to level 26 lol. Now have to wait for my "hard" ones to finished lol

ALFA, it's been like that for days and days. I'm almost at the point where I'm going to stop playing FV as I'm so sick of sitting there waiting for pages to load and then the m/c switching itself off, so I have to go back and start again. My machine is dying.

Anyway, if I miss sending people prezzies or don't help out on farms etc, it's the computer's fault!

islandofsodor · 01/01/2010 23:28

I tried to post all the future achievments you will need earlier, but I lost the internet connection.

Will try again.

Awassailinglookingforanswers · 01/01/2010 23:29

it could be your machine.........and sort of FV - it does use a LOT of memory/space/whatever its called when you're playing it and perhaps your poorly computer is struggling to cope?????

OP posts:
islandofsodor · 01/01/2010 23:29

Anyone with the initials AW added me?

Jux · 01/01/2010 23:54

I think you're right ALFA. Poor little thing, struggling manfully against the odds; grew up in a cardboard box in the middle of the road, with only gravel for breakfast.

I shall try to be nice to it, instead of swearing and threatening it with disembowelling.

islandofsodor · 01/01/2010 23:57

In Zoo there is an option to switch to lighter verion for slow computers (you click on a litttle eye at the side) is there the same option in FW.

Awassailinglookingforanswers · 02/01/2010 00:03

PMSL @ your last post Jux - I nearly spat my coffee on the keyboard and did actually break the cracker with pate I was holding over it

OP posts:
Jux · 02/01/2010 00:20

You can't eat pate on a broken cracker, you know, it's against the law. You'll have to get another one (and probably do a few spares just in case).

I am eating stale crumbly fudge which is quite delicious; especially as dh has complained that it is stale and won't touch it, which means I can eat it all with a clear conscience. Why didn't I put it in an airtight container, he wanted to know. Why indeed? Can't imagine.

Awassailinglookingforanswers · 02/01/2010 00:22

oh I already had spares on the plate

but I'm afraid I broke the law and ate the broken one anyhow lol
