I only play farmville now - would like something else, but dont want cafe world or fish - got bored of those

lucy there is a farm town game, its very similar to farmville, but imo farm ville is much better. (i started on farm town, joine farm ville couldnt cope with playing 2 so alike so now dont play either !)

no you can find collectables on your farm when you're doing stuff as well

and occasionaly grab one off the feed if one of your friends has found an "uncommon" or "rare" one and they share it

oh but ive been harvesting loads and havnet found anything yet - TIS NOT FAIR

Sometimes they pop up without you even noticing - I know I've got a few in my collection that I don't remember seeing turn up on my farm.

addictedtomn thank you SO much for all my lovely pear trees - I've upgraded them all - nearly got enough pomengranate trees to upgrade to a Star Fruit tree which I'll (and you lot if you visit ) will get $6400 for shaking

do you get that if you just visit? I thought it was just the owner? maybe I've been confusing pear trees for jasminium whatsits!

anyway, in the context of what your zoo earns every five minutes, isn't that a bit of a drop in the ocean?

just mystified by these pear trees, and what their appeal is, let alone the weird topiaries!

well obviously you have to shake the trees - but I've put mine on my last island so they're easy to find (right under your nose when you arrive at my zoo ).

Yes pear trees are a drop in the ocean..............but Golden Rain trees (quite a lot more upgrades on from where I am right now ) are worth $25,000 per tree you shake..........and I understand there are even more valuable trees that you can upgrade to once you've got enough Golden Rains............

So

pear trees - $25 a shake

but as you know with 3 pear trees you can upgrade to a tree that is worth $100 per shake

HOWEVER - it goes on...........

3xJasminum Sambac - gives you a Crab Apple tree - $400 each day from it

3xCrab Apples gives you a Pomegranate Tree - $1600 a day

3xPomegranate Trees gives you a Star Fruit tree - £6400 a day

3xStar Fruit trees and you get up upgrade to a Golden Rain tree - $25,000 a shake........

Problem is once you've used a tree to upgrade to the next - that's it it's gone - so atm I have

1 pear tree
2 crab apple trees
2 pomegranate trees

I need LOTS AND LOTS of pear trees to be able to keep upgrading to the most profitable trees - and to have lots of the profitable ones.

But no - I don't get the topiaries either

I have done the 5 at a time thing but still only maybe one batch per 6 stuffings!!

yes, the chicken thing is amazing, i have collected from a lot of gold eggs, so many popping out, but only had 2 from my coop, but other people you know who you are have 8 lots on the run!

have got loads of gold chikcne, so my entire coop is gold and black now

Rose - there is a link to the proper guide somewhere on this thread however I'll do my best to explain as well.

Make sure your coop is empty.

Take a chicken that is read to be harvested and put it into the EMPTY Coop (this is very important it MUST be empty when you put a READY Chicken in).

Then put another 19 ready chickens in and collect eggs.

then you need to empty the coop again -

Then repeat with other ready chickens.

If you've not got much time you can do fewer chickens in at once, but the success rate is a little lower.

If you've got far too much time lots of time you can do what I was doing with all mine.

put 20 ready chickens into coop and harvest.

remove all

• put ONE ready chicken in - and 19 of the chickens you've just taken out

remove all

put another (single) ready chicken in and 19 of the ones you've just recently taken out

ad infinitum

(you can also do the above method with fewer chicken - ie 1 ready, 4 "done")

I think there's lots of ways of doing "coop stuffing" - just depends on what way you fancy/how much time/how many chickens you have

obviously using just 1 ready chicken and using the ones you've just taken out takes longer than just putting 60 ready chickens in 5 at a time or whatever.

I've noticed that the only time I'm getting collectables around my farm is when I'm harvesting trees....anyone else found that to be the case?
Want to check before I sell every one of my pesky trees....70 more harvests to go before I get the blue
ribbon...was SO looking forward to ditching them all!!

I know what you mean about the trees dingdong - I've got just over 100 to harvest before my blue ribbon and can't wait to get rid of them all. But apparently the collectables turn up when you're harvesting trees and animals, ploughing and fertilising friends' farms so it may be worth hanging on to a few trees for a while...
