I have had a lovely meal and talked for hours with my mum about my childhood and my lovely dad we lost when I was a child from cancer. I am all wilted and glowing at the same time. I really must be away. Life is good, walks are good, wine is even better shared with friends or with family.

You see when you lose someone you don't talk about your life as it was and there are big chunks of my childhood that we have never talked about as it has always been too painful for us. I am lucky I had a good childhood and good parents. I am glad I have told her that.

I have drunk far too much wine it always makes me very sentimental. My friend says I am like the first bride in 4 weddings and a funeral film, who after too much on her wedding night goes around saying she loves everyone. Yep that's me!

i never thought of it like that tnog,thats a good thought . have to make two of them big enough to go on the girls beds ! i have made them for all of the gc before,but i promised them recently i would make them another one ,so i have to do it now ,i will start off full of enthusiasm,then put it down and leave it for weeks! but they will be very warm when finished .when I have finished one i will take a pic so you can see it
